Since the inception of GTAO last October, there have been numerous glitches and hacks that amount to cheating for GTA$.

 

In response, R* has released various patches with remedies for these exploits, as well as banning players and sending them to bad sport lobbies.

 

I always played it safe. No cheating, period. I figured that in a game as highly monitored as GTAO (not in real time, but through statistics), the cheaters would have to eventually be punished.

 

Please share your experiences or stories about players who made it through without punishment, keeping their spoils...

Some (not all) DNS-hoster & Modmenu-user got punished with wipes, BS or ban...

Anyone can view GTA F as guests. Usually members of R* get banned though if they register

Rockstar are constantly Advertising and featuring Mod and Glitcher crews. I think they care very little unless its costing them money

OP, you are wrong on so many levels....

 

1. Nobody, really nobody is monitoring GTA V seriously. Yes, sometime they're resetting money (billionaire days) and sometime rank. However, I'm personally aware of people, who are not punished in any way after RP glitch and their ranks are untouched. How? Let's see. There were 2 options: DNS and mission glitch. DNS users got punished and their ranks are reseted, when mission glitchers are not. A friend of mine is rank 400+ from that helicopter glitch.
2. Billionaire money. Back then that cash flow was endless for more than a month. R* was helpless about that. And their response, after that period of time was simple: wipe the money, let everyone have their purchases. There was true start of adder bonds.
3. Adder bonds were re-introduced after hooker glitch. Guess what? 99% of that glitch users are unpunished, check the forum. Only the most talented billionaires got their bans.
4. I'm not in personal contact with god-moders, but there is a serious probability that they're not punished, just god mode was (?) patched.

When there's millions of players, quite difficult. You can't just monitor every single action of every single player. Its simply impractical

He won't be able to sell them, I mean his friend. The only person who is customising car is able to sell it. Tracker/insurance are not affecting this.

hi, my name is Carimbo and im a glitcher...

 

i was a clean player for like a month, then i discovered the beauty of the lsc glitch, then i got millions gifted to me, then billions, then i we all got wiped, then i just continue with some lsc glitch, rebel glitch method, hookers glitch, you name it i have done it!

 

to this day i have glitched well over 110 millions.

 

never being send to cheaters pool, being through bad sport but not because of glitches.

 

today i have 53millions and 25 adder bonds between my 2 characters.

 

i when through rehab and im now a clean player!

He's not the only person who is 'supposing this'. Clearly, not. I've got 6.66 K/D ratio all legit, should I be a cheater? Invite only player who's only going public in passive to rooftop snipe people or kill them with a jet? There are players with >50 k/d ratios all legit. Are they arseholes? Yes. Are they cheaters? Hell no.

 

Ask your last question to R. I was glitching cars SP-MP for a long time, made more than 10 mils with that. Never punished.

Here's my take on it: I don't give a sh*t if you glitch 100,000,000,000 dollars, just don't go announcing it too loudly, lot of snitches. Wall breaching to be an asshole and grief? Report them.

Me for one and I like to think it's purely down to not standing out to much, I don't go greifing unless I feel I have been stalked or harassed in some way and those sorts of people usually don't report.

 

I have also bought two shark cards and would be bad business sense to do anything as I would not upgrade to ps4.

 

I also have plenty of cars ie Spoiler free Pheonex that I have had for ages even though I put in support tickets for lost cars, they would have some cheek of they tried now and I'm quite positive it would be reviewed.

I only glitched enough to feed my family of 2. Admittedly it was a disgusting amount.

 

I was shocked when everything transferred over to PS4. Even the Cargobob which still seems like you can't obtain it from Peagus legit?

Last week a modder teleported to sandy shores tazed crew leader blew my car up. I was passive depositing money after the mission, then he teleported away. Checked his rank 7999 took pics reported to Rockstar via email. Two days later I get an email saying I've been banned due to RP glitching. Um wtf? I don't think so! Mailed them back told them they sent the email to the wrong player and guess what the offenders ban will be lifted Dec 23rd... But I myself is not banned booted PS3 and PS4, I'm fine. So they made a mistake yet only giving these types of players a slap on the wrist...smh -_-'

They did wipe the billions but didn't reset people in the early days. Took them a long time to do it too.

 

Once upon a time there was no avoiding billions. Join a public lobby and 50% of the time you were gifted billions by some random santa. You couldn't avoid it.

 

I can't comment on anything that happened after early 2014 as I wasn't there.
