Knowing they are on the same platform, The Stanier possibly shares the same platform with the Washington and Admiral, like their real life counterparts do (Ford Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car and Mercury Grand Marquis).Which one is better? I personally prefer the Stanier, but which one wins?

 

This goes for durability, speed, acceleration, looks, practicality, etc.

I'd say Stanier. Stanier, I feel, can even compete with the Tailgater. IT's a good car.

I feel the Washington is more planted and has a narrower turning radius, so I voted for it. Both are average in a straight line. I don't care for either in terms of looks, but I'd say I prefer the Washington more due to the fact that it's more of a "luxury"(ish) car with its hood ornament and wood trim interior.

I'd prefer the Admiral (grand marquis) from GTA IV.

 

Not much of a fan of the round body town cars. I like the box bodies better.

Why? They've been out of service for almost 10 years now. The last time i saw an in-service aero-style crown vic was back in 2007, and i'm pretty sure it was the last one they had.

 

Soon, even the new style crown vics will be obsolete in police service.

Yup, ^replaced by Dodge Chargers and Ford Taurus`, and Chevy Impalas, though the Chevies are not really popular, unless it is just where I live.

 

I choose Admiral, don`t like the roundiness either.And i mean the 3D universe Admiral. GTA IV Admiral looks fugly.

I like the Stanier better but if R* added a caprice like there was in GTA SA (the 90s model) I would pick that.

If they had a Dodge Monaco I'd be making the Bluesmobile sooo fast it'd be ridiculous.

 

Bluesmobile doesn't count, the Bluesmobile was awesome, but it was a decommissioned cop car. they were just too lazy to buff out the glue from the decals and paint the car.

 

My first day out the joint and my own BROTHER.. picks me up in a puh-leeeese car.

Most people with a classic car aren't trying to play copper, that's why.

Not sure... I like both.

That's why my first character has a Stanier and my second one has a Washington.

 

(Although I think the Washington's a little bit faster)

 

Also the Primo's just as good, I'd say. Any one of them can keep up with the fastest sedans pretty well and are way cooler-looking.

 

Then again, if it wasn't so slow, I'd put the Emperor above all of them. I've actually managed to win 3 or 4 sedan races with the Emperor... but it sure as hell doesn't happen very often. Feels great when it does, though. :)

I'm not trying to play copper. I just want a classic cop car.

 

EDIT: If I wanted a cop car to play police in, I would have asked for the Buffalo or the Fugitive version, wouldn't I? God, I ask for a vintage car and I get all this bullsh*t.

I have a black Washington with the moon rims also in black.It's my mockup of one of my favorite vehicles in any GTA, the FIB Washington from Vice City. I prefer it's toughness and handling too. Both are great vehicles. Post your vehicle once you are done!
