TPhilipsIndustries Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 Hi everyone, I've been experiencing very bad flickering issues in areas with lots of grass/bushes. I've been searching for people who have experienced the same issues, but I haven't found anyone. I really hope it isn't something wrong with my console, as the issue usually only appears in grassy areas. It's a really distracting problem, especially in the desert areas of the game. Vertighost Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 That's pretty weird, never had that happen myself.Sorry I can't help you man, Are you connected to the net, and does it happen with all your game saves? How long have you had the system? I've had the system for about a year now. Crap, I was afraid of that. I thought that it wouldn't be a GPU issue because it only happened in GTA V. Have you been experiencing it anywhere else in the game? Also, are all your other games running fine? I really hope it's not a console issue, although I am going to contact sony for repairs just in case. My warranty is going to expire in February. The only other graphical quirk I can find in other games is fuzzy/moving shadows on player faces in NHL 15 when the camera zooms in. However, I feel that is not a console issue either. Is the console in a well-ventilated area - nothing blocking the vents, not in a confined space, generally has a good flow of air going over it? If the issue worsens, then it's likely the GPU failing. vyvexthorne Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 Could be something like the hdmi port or cord.. loose connection maybe? Wiggle it about and see if it fixes anything.
