Showing Offline

Does anyone have any trouble every now and then showing online to they're friends? I can be in a lobby with them, even do a playlist of loads of stuff, but as soon as we go to freemode, to them I'm showing offline, on GTA and the PS4. If anyone else has this problem or has solved it, it appreciate some help

I have never encountered this. Does it happen often?

I get this all the time with my crew friends who I play with most often.

 

It is down to connection conflicts, I think - most of them are online but are shown to be in Story Mode (GTAV) in my friends list.

 

So it seems weird when one of them invites me to a lobby or a race/match/etc.

If you are playing privately in an Invite or Crew lobby you are shown as offline, it will only show you as Online

if you are public or in a Friend lobby I belive.

Even if you are (active) in the same crew?

 

We can test this out if you can get online (set your active crew to mine first though)

Yeah I will do that, can you do a friend request and crew invite to my second PSN ID (its in my profile!)

 

Different if you are in the same crew as you should both show as online if its a crew lobby, if not then it

will show the V logo.

If you join my invite only lobby in about 1/2 an hour if you are online I can probably sort it in game
