Scooter09
Not complaining and I know that this game isn't a planetarium simulation but I noticed that the stars don't move at night. I'm pretty sure it was like that in old gen too. I was watching a time lapse video of Skyrim and I noticed the stars would move at night, looked pretty cool. Lol going from static trees to static stars. I think the sky in gta 5 is a lot more realistic though, especially the weather effects.
IntoGloryRide
Well, at least the moon moves I got some decent shots of it going through the clouds at night. Looks especially cool when using the red filter. Scooter09
Cutter De Blanc
No big deal, they're not exactly flying around the sky in real life either. stobe187, Frito-Man, r3h4n786 and 1 other

Scooter09
Lol I know they don't move, Earth does, but relative to where we're standing they move. Check out video: I know it's Skyrim but go to 1:37 and look at the sky. Edited December 14, 2014 by Scooter09 Lock n' Stock

Glenni91
Weeeelll, this is very easily explained by Skyrim being on a fictional planet. (Nirn), and GTA V + ourselves, being on Earth. Stars are rarely seen as moving, while seing them from Earth. Meanwhile, in Obivion, Skyrim, and any Elder Scrolls games where you can see the night sky they do, you can also see massively up close planets. There are also gates leaving into a hellplane in Oblivion, I also have yet to see those in real life. =P tl;dr: Skyrim is set in a fantasy world, GTA 5 is set in the real world. We don't see this IRL, and if we did, I would be very, VERY worried. Edited December 14, 2014 by Glenni91

In real life, during a time-lapse it's like this as well, we don't see movement in the sky because the rotation of the Earth is slow enough for us not to notice the stars all shifting. woggleman
This is it!, I have defended this game since the start but now I hate it and I hate Rockstar.
Assifuah
I'm not sure what's funnier. The fact that someone must have sat through a clear sky night in GTA V (because there's nothing else to do, right?) to notice this or that it's being compared to Skyrim.
