MrDeSanta Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I know it`d feel more alive and realistic if those workers in NG V would actually work but then it`d be weird if there wouldn`t be no results of their work. Making them actually build something would be technically too challenging for a console game so they just stand there for illusion.. Besides they are fun to pick a fight with. Michael; "hey you! when i say you suck you really suck!!" workers: i`m gonna beat your ass" Michael; "it`s on" And the next thing you know i have a huge fight with the whole construction site of workers. CarnageRacing00 Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I think NPC workers standing around is less immersion breaking than having them hammer fruitlessly on a piece of the world that never changes. Yeah it'd be cool if they actually worked, but at least hen they're standing around smoking it makes sense that no work is actually getting done. Yeah, play with music off and you hear all sorts of stuff. Lawn mowers, people jumping into pools ("WOOHOO!"), a bunch of ambient sound effects. CarlitoDorito Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) NPC's play tennis. I saw it once in 360. At the Vespucci beach tennis courts there were 3 games happening on ps4, first time of seen peds playing since getting the game, mostly it's just tennis players standing.
