ive added some of your practise tracsk to the OP... i know one of my crew members has a good track for stunts too so ill see if i can dig that out.

Yo thanks. How come we car stunters don't get gliding? Damn it. I knew about wheelies though. I mean, have you seen the Bati vs. Akuma threads last year? They really got technical there.

imo the akuma cant wheelie well enough for doing stunts...

 

my personal bike of choice is the ruffian... dont really like the bati handling and the ruffian can pop a wheelie anywhere.

 

you can find a little taste of my stunting on this video... as stated I much prefer realistic looking stunts

Agreed - the Akuma is not good for most stunts, which is a shame because I love that bike. I too am a Ruffian rider though. Whilst the Bati has some advantages, I just find the Ruffian a better all-rounder.

 

And I know what you mean about preferring more realistic stunts. There's plenty of flavours to stunting. Like I said, I don't like using boosts or props, and don't even get me started on using Franklin's ability! Each to their own though. It's just not for me.

Are you doing this week's challenge? I've been trying to find a less common water tower but not found one that I can get to yet, without looking a bit lame. Some are too easy.

Are you doing this week's challenge? I've been trying to find a less common water tower but not found one that I can get to yet, without looking a bit lame. Some are too easy.

 

 

does he jsut set the challenges on his YT channel?? im interested in knowing more about this as i only heard about it from randomly finding one of his videos but forgot to hit subscribe

Yeah, he does a challenge himself every week but also sets a challenge in the video, for others to send in to him. I subscribed to him a while ago and most of his stuff is decent, but he's sometimes a bit vague about the challenge he's setting. This was the first one I'd sent in to him as well so I was buzzed to see it used.

 

This week's is a pretty simple idea. Just do a stunt that lands you on a water tower, or whatever those white things are.

The Hakuchou seems like a pretty good stunt bike, better than the Ruffian?

I prefer the Hakuchou over Ruffian just because it's faster and it's a mix between Bati and Ruffian so it works great for mostly everything. Ruffian is great if you need to take a sharper corner before the stunt spot though

Hopefully, haven't found a great water tower stunt spot yet so atm I'm just lurking around the map for a great spot

 

 

I had a fly round last night, looking for them, and there's 3 right next to each other in Paleto Bay, but they're in a bitch of a place to do anything with. I had this stupid idea in my head of hitting the first one, bouncing to the second and then landing on the third. I might as well just break the controller with a hammer and save myself the hours of frustration :p

No it was intended, took me several attempts to get was over the moon when I landed it :)

When i first watched that i windered why you were flyin down a pavement full of peds.

 

I was kinda jel you cleared the entire drain so smoothly, thats before i saw the landing... But i have something new up my sleeve worths.... Game on lol

now who wants to start/run a STUNNING c*nt crew (ps3) so we can have a full lobby to play follow the leader and learn from the best?! keeping my eye out just incase anyone decides to run a session.

I'd personally recommend starting with it, since it wheelies easier than any other bike. The Bati and Hakuchou are easier to do fast stunts with, but I'd say they require more skill when doing wheelies, and in some cases they flat out can't do things the Ruffian can. I use my Ruffian for everything, unless I need that extra bit of speed to do something, then I go for the Hakuchou then Bati, in that order.

 

It's obviously all personal preference, but I strongly believe the Ruffian is the easiest to get to grips with stunting on.

I was thinkin.on the back.of tjis, a regular stuntin meet, maybe sunday eve gmt.

I know a few crewbies who like stuntin, sure we could fill a 30 player lobby but need to start a meetups thread if theres so much interest..

Back ot whats your favourote spots for stunting.... I seem to keep finding myself in the drain alot cos theres some neat spots.

Then theres the raised train line through sandy shore.

And the jump over the freeway behind the race course.. One of the first spots i found when i started stuntin

Ill update op w gopd spots so try n get some snapmatics

Ill get on makin a stunters meetups thread soonish

Cheers joe, i was lookin into that before as im no longer a crew leader i can setup. Redrum will always be my main but if you guys want a stun... I mean cunning stunts crew lets do it
