I admit that I do usually leave my vehicle accessible to passengers and/or to freinds/crew, but I have no problem with people locking me out of their car, because I have my own, and I understand precisely their reasons for keeping it locked.

Just make sure you have a PV outside of your garage before starting a mission. Even if it gets destroyed, they pay insurance. It's your own fault when your standing there alone on a dirtroad because everyone else has driven off to the objective. Just get your f*cking PV out.

And we have all been there not realizing our doors are locked and fumbling to quickly get them unlocked. OP, relax. It's just a game. I join a mission to make a quick buck, not to play limo service for your lazy ass. Got a slower car than me? Just want to cruise with me? Cool, welcome aboard. Try changing my FlyLo or act like you're entitled to be in my car for some bullsh*t reason when you had a super at spawn? Get the hell out of my car and walk your lazy ass there. I don't join missions to lollygag and delay the mission for an extra 2-3g. I join to go from point a to point b and leave. Don't like it? Tough. I prefer efficiency over false conceptions that waiting 10 minutes is worth a little extra chump change when I could get more doing another mission quicker or playing limo driver for you because you're lazy to hold down a shoulder button. Seriously, the people who expect me to give them a ride when they got a super too are generally lazy sh*t who hang back and make me do all the work. Don't sit on your ass at spawn point or hang back by the car and make me do Rooftop Rumble or A Titan of a Job myself or I'll f*ck up the mission on purpose. I'm not your moneymaking machine asshole.

In the rare times I am in a pubic lobby if I am about to undertake a mission that requires multiple

players to complete I set access to everyone before launching the job so I know that the one person

who joins who doesn't have a car can get a lift.

 

Missions where you can play on your own through I do just that so there's no need to allow anyone

else into the vehicle.

 

There's no point keeping cars in the garage if you're not going to use them or worried about

damage, I'd much rather use my Zentorno or Turismo R etc than some crappy NPC slowmo vehicle...

Not every player always has their own vehicle in use during the game either. I usually start jobs first when heading online for a few sessions, plus the odds of having your own vehicle getting trashed by some random session twat are fairly high so I rarely take my prized vehicles out of my garage.

I can completely understand that you don't always have your vehicle to hand when starting a mission. Sometimes I accept mission invites when I'm still in my apartment. Sometimes the game decides to spawn my vehicle at the location that we're supposed to be driving to. So fair enough there.

 

But prized vehicles? Worried about it getting a bit of damage? Utter rubbish. Your vehicle's damage is removed when you join, and leave, a mission. If you're in Free Roam and somebody scuffs up your car you can either a) ignore it, because it has no tangible affect on the gameplay, or b) drive it back into your garage for a free repair. Don't give me this 'it's too precious' rubbish. They're cars; they're supposed to be driven.

 

Anyway, back on topic; I always set my vehicle access as Passenger Only. I'm fine with giving people a ride but I am absolutely the only person who will drive my car.

 

In fact the only time I'll make an exception is if I'm playing with a low-level player for a couple of missions and they seem pretty cool; then I'll let them have a taste of Zentorno / Turismo R / insert luxury car name here. It's likely they won't be able to drive one of their own for a long, long time so giving them a little sample of my own vehicle seems like a nice thing to do.

I'm sure we've all experienced this at some point. A number of players spawn in a location at the beginning of a job and are unable to enter another players' vehicle because they either race off on their own or have locked their vehicle. It's especially galling when they honk honk honk their horn to offer you a ride but they haven't figured out they can set the vehicle preference option to be unlocked for passengers...

 

WHY?!?

 

I mean... Jobs demanding multiple players are obviously easier WITH everyone working together, not a lone wolf maverick doing it alone! And if they wanted that why the hell would they join a job with other players anyway?!

 

And if they honk their horn to offer you a ride and their vehicle is locked down it's their fault, not mine! The time it takes to open up a message and type 'Vehicle is locked!!!' and send it the other players are halfway to the mission start and it's quicker to just boost a random vehicle on the road and make your own way there!

Sick of all supers they feel so meh becuse everyone drives zenterno. At the moment i drive a granger and i love it. It's so fun to see all rush of and die. And i dont understan why the co-pilot always playing whit the missile launcher on the buzzard during missions.
