The officer who had reported seemed like an nice guy who'd try to help us get the system back, but it's the process. Only problem I see in it is the officer getting an subpoena, so the department could contact Sony, once Sony gets the IP, the Department contacts the cable provider the IP were issued by for the physical address. This all could be done in a week, if the officer is on-top of his game.

 

 

This is pretty much all you have to go with. Sony co-operating will be the biggest issue.

And it would be best if you get someone who is female or pretends to be female to catfish this person into giving up information.

My friend who's an female has messaged the thief, sadly, she has an PS3, so she cannot get on the PS4 to play alongside with him. I would pay $10 through Amazon if somebody gets the thieves InstaGram and/or some other form of media identifying him to me with screenshots and proof. I have enough credits on Bing for two $5 Amazon Cards or $5 Gamestop Cards/or two One Month Hulu Plus subscriptions.

Good luck OP, had my 360 stolen a few years back. I was more pissed that i lost all my created wrestlers on Legends of Wrestlemania than the system.

Oh trust me, I have WWE Games on my PS3, Created Wrestlers, Arenas, Logos, and etc... Literally the Monday after my house was broken into, WWE2K15 came in the mail, and i'm so tempted to play it, but I don't have an system. Thanks man,

The cops just need to request Sony give them the IP address your account is logging in with, call the ISP, get the dudes address. Done. You shouldn't have to do anything, that's why we pay for the cops and government.

This is why I dont let people in my place, and dont let people know what I have. Have only had one thing stolen from me, and that was a real expensive downhill mountain bike, but I knew who it was, because they were the only person who actually saw it that knew where I lived.

I got it back that same day.

As far as the thief goes he's not playing your PS4 the guy he sold it to is. Most break ins are for drug $ and herion/meth is more important to the person who broke in than GTA is.

 

The OP needs to be on the phone with his home owners insurance company. That is how you get your stuff back because the cops won't do sh*t. If you don't have home owners or renters insurance that needs to be your first call Monday to get it.

As far as the thief goes he's not playing your PS4 the guy he sold it to is. Most break ins are for drug $ and herion/meth is more important to the person who broke in than GTA is.

 

The OP needs to be on the phone with his home owners insurance company. That is how you get your stuff back because the cops won't do sh*t. If you don't have home owners or renters insurance that needs to be your first call Monday to get it.

I have proof of purchase, pictures of the systems and television that were stolen, I have the MAC Address And everything. The account he's logining onto is Tru_Bands313 (don't ask,) anyone willing to do this favor and keep contact with me about the situation? He could be befriended over the Mic, or through messages,since he's adding people over the PS4. I'm keeping watch from the Sony PlayStation app on his actions, screenshotting everything.

This could be someone you know that likes the stuff you have. Got any untrustworthy friends? Or friends or your friends that have been over?

Well, I'm on PS3, but if you can get the IP address, you can get a general location with a reverse search.

 

It doesn't narrow it down completely, but at least you're not going in blind.

Contact the authorities.... should be pretty easy to trace the IP address. The theif is an idiot for logging into your cousins name... he should of just erased everything, as if to make the PS4 brand new... and then create an account and go from there.....

Neither, nobody has even been in to see my PS3/4 and TVs.
