rockstars solution to unknown network error disconnects

It has to be Rockstar. I have this problem on both PS4 and Xbox One, and only one of those characters was transferred. The other was started from scratch.

 

All of my ports are open.

Explain why everyone isn't affected to the same extent then? Rockstar's servers are the only constant here.

My issues are intermittent at this point.

 

 

My issues are non-existant of late, others are constant.

 

Free roam is okay, occasionally I suffer from the empty lobby glitch where everyone leaves. Matchmaking is a bit more of a constant issue though. With a low number of players, I have no issues joining games, and playing. When I have a higher amount of players, then there are issues. Random disconnects before the mission starts, players getting kicked during lobby, the lobby disbanding, I have to keep my player count low in order to ensure that nothing will screw up...which sucks, because I have a map specifically made for a full 30 player lobby... but I can't even test it yet.

 

 

The empty lobby thing where everyone leaves is you lagging out. Nothing Rockstar can do about that.

At the post above, no point trying to tell them the answer as their all "IT professionalss" because they can pay for Internet and install a wifi password on new devices.

I have been using those as my dns servers since I was playing on ps3...why cant you people look into the issue on your end instead of copy and pasting answers? Doubt it, there have been times on ps3 when servers were splitting. Well not times but rather certai patches. At the moment the ps3 servers are stable I'm still switching between ps3 and ps4, the difference in stability is absurd. Also the game itself on ps4 doesn't run correctly, the NPC cars don't track straight, all laggy and weird, the frame rate dropping effects input controls. None of this happens on the ps3 version.

I gave the game around a two months break purley for these reasons, been back around a month and have to admit it has been better lately.

 

Sometimes it's more annoying tho because your building up a good lobby doing stuff then bam it goes.

 

 

 

OT I wouldn't do any of the things they suggested because it always changes even when nothing on your side has.

What makes me angry is that Rockstar always recommend us to change the parameters of our Box! When a customer buys a game, it does not have to configure anything! He just plays, the problem is with Rockstar and it's for sure! I opened all the ports of my NAT and last night I was able to play with 18 players on COD AW for 3 hours without any problem! Only on GTA Online I receive network problems!

I played twice today. NAT is moderate.

 

1st session - 1 1/2 hours - 3 unknown network errors

 

2nd session - 3 hours - no unknown network errors.

Every time I try to farm RP on Blow Up II with a friend, it kicks me off GTA. I can do this alone no problem. However, when I try to help my friend (I let him use my tank), I get kicked due to "unknown error". This can't be a coincidence. I report it with video every time. It's complete bùllshít.

I can play in online free roam session with others, but when I join a job or race I get an unknown network error, 100% of the time for the past 4 days.

I transfered my character and it worked fine before, so I very much doubt you need a reset of some sort. I just wait for the next update.

It has always been rockstard servers. I like how they play it like its on our side yet my laptop and every other game I play never disconnects.

Its your friend they must have some sort of glitched item. I remember hearing this and one guy realized they had a glitched radio station tshirt. They removed it and the error stopped.

 

See if your friend has any sort of item like this.
