Help needed, Franklin is glitched bad (PS4)

Hey guys, need some major help here. been searching around and finding nothing.

 

Basically, my franklin is glitched on PS4.

 

This is a similar issue that others have face on previous gen/current gen where the strangers and freaks aren't appearing, but mine seems a little extra unusual.

 

So the beverly mission isn't appearing, BUT... it actually was on the map at one point, it hasn't just neglected to show up, I drove past it a few times and didn't do it, however, neither are some of Dom's missions, I've finished the maze bank land on the truck mission but nothing for him either after, seems there's a whole bunch that aren't appearing, and get this... if I go to the character selection wheel single player, franklin shows up as having '1' available but there's actually nothing on the map.

 

then if I go to online, and say, mess about for a while, have a good time, whatever, then decide to jump back to single player, if I select franklin from the selection wheel... when it leaves multiplayer, it jumps into michael, NOT franklin. I can THEN select and play as franklin, but this is obviously something rockstar need to look at. has anybody got or seen similar issues with fixes?? tried the taxi skip trick, didn't work, tried saving new slots and reloading them, didn't work, tried levelling up in online (i'm level 9, didn't play much online last gen, but transferred character over on ps4 at level 7). I just don't know what to do guy, I don't want to delete the game and redownload it from the psn as it's 50gb and it took my 40 hours to download the preload as it was!!

 

any help would be appreciated, feeling major frustrated with rockstar but I know if I submit a ticket I'll get a generic 'corrupt save file' response when in reality, this is THEIR issue to fix, it's been a problem on bothg gen's now, and hasn't been fixed.

To complete the next Dom mission, you must complete all Parachute Jumps on the map.

^ that's actually really helpful, will do that now and hope that it re-unlocks beverly but I highly doubt it given the selection wheel online glitching. any ideas mate?

The Wheel from Online happens to me too, it's annoying but I see it being fixed soon.

Edit: I'm playing on Xbox One so I imagine it's for all NG Consoles.

update: finished all the remaining parachute missions that I hadn't done, nothing from dom, have saved the game to progress about three days, rand around for about half an hour, switched between characters. it's not progressing and the little '1' is still on franklin's wheel.

The "1" your seeing on Franklin's wheel is because of Tonya's mission line, give her a call and you'll get the next towing mission from her, that should sort that problem out. I was in the same position as you earlier today.

 

But what is really annoying me as well is the character selection glitch where coming out of online puts you as Michael even if you pick Franklin.

 

And even more frustrating is that I'm trying to get to 100% but Beverly's missions aren't appearing on the minimap or anything. It's preventing me from getting 100% and it's annoying as hell.

I am in the exact same situation. I'm trying everything. Franklin is bugged on PS4. Beverly's "the Partnership" is NOT appearing, and i don't receive any call from Downtown Cab. Like you, i tried to "play GTA Online for 5 minutes and return to SP as Franklin from the character wheel" but the only one that loads is Michael. I'm stuck at 97% and i don't want to do everything again.
