I would love to see Rockstar add in a Toyota Hilux-inspired pickup truck. Very simple, elegant truck and one of my favourites!

Delta India Echo

Nothing screams Murricah like a car built by a Japanese company.

Even though it's designed and manufactured in Indiana by a completely different Toyota subsidiary.

Uninformed much?

The Rebel is kind of close to that.

Toyota is still a Japanese company. Uninformed much?

I have both, got much more love for the bison.

Any specific reason?

PS: Remember that I want a city driver that's not too bargy and feels nimble.

The Bison just drives better, thing can lift the inside tyres while cornering like a Felon sedan if you get the tyres and suspension right. It was the first thing I grabbed for one of my characters, actually.. Grabbed sp to mp so I've had a fully modded full armour Bison on that character since like lvl 4. Lime green dream, still got it :).

Actually there's more US made parts in a Toyota that the other big 3, GM, Chrysler or Ford.

Back on topic.

For what the OP is wanting I would say Bison. The 6X6 driving around town would be like a bull in a china shop.

It would be hard to go a block without hitting or running over something.

I'd ditch the Merryweather Mesa and get the 6x6 for off road.

No Roosevelt option? Its a 6 seater. Its better looking than both vehicles suprisingly nimble and quick and allows mgs and assault riffles to be shot

But you can't buy the Roosevelt anymore. I'd say get the 6x6 and a Bobcat.

Take the Toyota discussion elsewhere, guys. This thread is about the Dubsta 6x6 and the Bison - not Toyota or any other real vehicle brand for that matter.

The Wombatopug is back! And this time, it's the battle of the 6 seaters =

Dubsta 6x6

or the Bison?

I've had the Dubsta 6x6 for as long as it came out, but I'm thinking, I don't offroad that much, and even if I do, I have my Merryweather Mesa. So this would probably aa city ride. Discuss!

Better than both. In the city or in the country.

The Dubsta is a bit of a jack-of-all trades, master of none.

If you want to properly off-road, then you'll want one of the Sandkings. An XL will give you 4 seats, which makes it pretty much as practical as the 6x6, considering the people in the back of the Dubsta are constantly flying out to their deaths any time you climb a steep slope (which the 6x6 struggles with anyway) or go over a jump. If you want to carry 6 people, then the Bison, Roosevelt, or Granger (which actually holds 8) will likely serve you better, with much better on-road performance, and the ability to do some light off-roading.

Bro plz. You say this only because you suck at using it. My Dubsta isn't even 80% modded and it can climb the hardest part of mt. Chilliad as if its The Liberator. Seriously? Can't climb through hills? That would be the BF Injection. Maybe you should spend more times using that truck, before you start criticizing it.

The 6X6 is at its BEST in the City. It just drives through other traffic. It's not much of an offroader, but it's a lot of fun in town.

I like the Bison too. But in all honesty I'd usually use a Roosevelt or even a Granger in town.

The Rebel is partly Hilux inspired.

I love how the Dubsta cuts through traffic, literally.

I had a Bison fully modded as I could get it but kept going back to the Dubsta.

As far as blending in, as long as they show dots on the map, this isn't of much use to me. Might as well be flashy in the process.

Re: The Merc Mesa - I love it for off-roading too. It's like rolling a tennis ball up a hill. In the city though, forget it.

I'm gonna say that even as a six person ride. The two in back always fall out or die first in fire fights. So yea screw rhat. Those two can grab their own ride. Now we're cleared that up. Four passenger truck.

Sadler all day! Next gen it doesn't lose its bed accessories.

Also Id go fora granger over the bison myself. Then again Id say screw all of them. Sandking XL. BEST OFF ROAD. Bulletproof back with topper or double bed bar. Big and powerful.

Bison just isn't on my radar at all. Sorry. So Dubsta if you can be bothered with anything besides those two.

I won't vote cause you can't compare the Dubsta 6x6 and the Bison. They are way too different.

Jerking For Soup

Dubsta 6x6

It is so handy and useful. Protective, fast, reliable, easy to run over passive mode abusers etc.

The 6x6 is not an urban oriented vehicle tbh.

If you want a good looking looking, low key truck go with the bison.

Honestly, I think OP would be better served ditching their Merryweather Mesa for a Sandking, and then getting the Bison. That way you have the best off-roader, and a nice 6-seater for the city. Not 1 crap off-roader, and 1 'meh' off-roader that isn't great on tarmac, and flings its passengers out when you try and take advantage of its suspension travel.

Have both and a Roosevelt.

I drive the Bison the most because Ram truck, it's not that common to see players driving them around, and it's cheaper to replace when I destroy it.

i just wish they'd add a Heavy Duty version of it.

OP the Maryweather Mesa is a show car, and basically nothing else. It's terrible all around off road. It's not powerful, the 10/90 power ratio split (10% power front wheels, 90% back wheels) makes it virtually 2WD. And being tall and narrow makes it prone to flips. The Mesa can't take a hill worth a damn and the 6X6, Sandking, and even Rebel are all far, far superior in it's class.

That being said the 6X6 is the fastest truck in the game, on and off road. it can't quite rock climb like the Sandking but beats it in every other way. As a city truck it isn't bad, quick, nimble enough far as trucks go, and heavy. It has very good suspension and is smooth over all types of bumps.

The Bison I don't see any real advantage. It isn't as fast, doesn't handle any better (probably bit worse if anything, is lighter and damages more easily (it doesn't take much to buckle a Bison's front wheel whereas a 6X6 is a tank).

Overall the 6X6 should be your choice both off road (if your using trucks, otherwise use a Sanchez/Dune Buggy) and in the city. The Mesa and Bison are neat to own, but ultimately they are both novelty's, as the 6X6 outdoes both at both jobs.

... So much for taste and elegance.

Anyways...

How do you sell the Merryweather Mesa?
