The Wombatopug is back! And this time, it's the battle of the 6 seaters =

Dubsta 6x6

or the Bison?

I've had the Dubsta 6x6 for as long as it came out, but I'm thinking, I don't offroad that much, and even if I do, I have my Merryweather Mesa. So this would probably aa city ride. Discuss!

I have both, got much more love for the bison.

Any specific reason?

PS: Remember that I want a city driver that's not too bargy and feels nimble.

Then the Roosevelt is the only 6 seater for you

But it's out of stock, remember? ;)

Might as well ask what's better between the Bati and the Faggio.

You see, the thing is that the winner will be used as a CITY car, not an offroader. Clear? :)

The Red Leader

I would recommend the Dubsta for anything really but as a city driver it can be great but don't go zooming around like a super car because you won't make corners and you'll send every car you see to the moon. Other that if you can learn to adapt to how it performs then it can be very useful for a lot of things.

As for the Bison I haven't used it all that much but it seems alright as it does the same job in terms of a people carrier but for performance I'm not sure I haven't used it enough. It looks nice though I will say that.

bison seemly not durable as 6x6 but 6x6's bigger tires would be problem without BP tires and getting hit by another vehicle

i'm not good using long-wheelbase vehicle ( aside standard granger )

All you need.

Dubsta is faster but uglier

Bison is slower but basic but more better looking

Roosevelt is sexy and looks good on fire with excellent performance

I sold my 6x6 a long time ago. I own a bison for a couple of reasons. To be totally honest with you, I bought one for the smug uniqueness of it. Not many people own one. Real hipster sh*t I know. It also kinda reminded me of the f150 in the fast and the furious. I like pickups brah. Now that I've driven both, I can say without a doubt that the 6x6 Is faster and stronger. You can literally smash cars out of the way and lose little to no momentum. That thing climbs up hills like nobody's business. If that sounds awesome to you, 6x6 is the obvious choice. But if you wanna be an awesome ass hipster like me, bison all the way baby ;)

The Dubsta is a bit of a jack-of-all trades, master of none.

If you want to properly off-road, then you'll want one of the Sandkings. An XL will give you 4 seats, which makes it pretty much as practical as the 6x6, considering the people in the back of the Dubsta are constantly flying out to their deaths any time you climb a steep slope (which the 6x6 struggles with anyway) or go over a jump. If you want to carry 6 people, then the Bison, Roosevelt, or Granger (which actually holds 8) will likely serve you better, with much better on-road performance, and the ability to do some light off-roading.

OP, Merry Mesa for off-road? Are you kidding me?

On topic: Dubsta is faster, tougher, better off-road. And remember, that in both cases your 2 guys in the back are not protected at all.

As the owner of both a Dubsta 6x6 and a Bison, I enjoy the Bison.

Pros:

Handles well.

Cheap Insurance if you blow it up by mistake.

Fairly durable when modded.

Blends in with traffic (Depending on your tastes.)

Seats six players.

Cons:

Can be a bit slow at times fully modded.

Blends in with traffic (Depending on your tastes.)

The Bison is an average vehicle. It's not amazing, but it doesn't suck. If you just want a driver so you can drive it, the Bison is one to pick if you want practical over flash.

Basically, what you're saying is that there are wheels on Bison and it's possible to drive it. Same applies to almost every car in the game.

That thing about blending in with the traffic is killing me. If you really want to blend in with the traffic, just steal a car from the street. Nothing blends in more than ordinary street car.

No, slick, I mean performance wise. average as in it's not a super or a sports car. Also, most traffic vehicles look dumpy as sin, the Bison's one of the better looking ones for rural and urban travel.

The Dubsta is a fricking tank. But it takes some skill to use as a city vehicle as it handles like a brick.

oh don't forget . during vehicle " shielding " , your legs may get exposed if u're using 6x6 compared bison

not to mention how fast entering/exiting it is

6x6 has wide array of customization than bison

CrysisAverted

I absolutely love the bison, nothing feels better than driving around on rainy days in it, something about it to me feels just right about it, like a comfy feel and more immersive too idk. It handles really well for a truck and is pretty fast to boot and of course seats six. The Dusbsta is a monster though, amazing for offroading (but not races cause those are dominated by bikes) I love it too and its kind of a go to for anyone above 100 imo. Its also amazing performance wise, I have had many situations where I have been stuck, like this one time on an offroad race I had to jump a bridge, landed on only the two front tires with the rest of the truck just handing there and managed to pull myself up.

I say go with both, maybe Dubsta if short on space

Delta India Echo

I like the overall look of the Bison, the Tundra grill and the F-150 taillights goes very well with the entire Ram design.

But I gotta go with Dubsta for the offroad capabilities, even if IMO it's ugly. Doesn't have the LED lights the real version has.

Wastelander (Suzuki)

The bison looks cool because it's a pickup truck

That and it is a Dodge Ram, sadly (cause R* are sh*t) it's based of the ungodly slow and unreliable Pentastar V6 base model, It would be much better were the (still unreliable) HEMI V8 Model or the best would be one based off a Ram 2500 Cummins diesel model.

I would love to see Rockstar add in a Toyota Hilux-inspired pickup truck. Very simple, elegant truck and one of my favourites!
