DionGR Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 Ook guys i MISTAKELY pressed "Right Click on gta3.img >> Run with >> Windows Explorer" , and now it runs as another file and not IMG, and i cannot run GTA. fnxrak Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) How the hell does it run as another file all you did was change the default softwre to open it???? Anyway San Andreas should still open the file like that, most likely you have corrupted the gta3.img file in some sort and for that you can only reinstall the game. My advice if you are trying to mess around with mods and stuff always have a backup of the game somewhere so if you mess something and mods tend to do that you can still use the backup. fnxrak Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 Yeah but the game uses the gta3.img as part of the game it has nothing to do with what software opens it, the games exe file will open on it's own, if it doesn't for some reason is because the file became corrupt thus a reinstall is needed.
