GTA Online needs a Navy patrol ship

I had some spare time so I thought I'd find a Navy ship for GTA Online. because GTAO has jets,tanks etc...... but no navy boats? I thought this was an outrage! so I decided to find and edit a Navy boat and re-named it "WARRIOR" for GTAO what do you think? and also do you think that GTAO needs a navy ship? Thanks

Adding a navy boat could open up to more jobs if people could use it oon the content creator. It should also contain a unique vehicle, like a helicopter

because NO ONE goes into the water.

 

we already have boats and other water vehicles and no one use them because there is nothing to do in the water.

 

to be honest the last time i saw some activity was a couple montha ago during patch 1.16, there was some sort of server issue that caused water to lose it mass, so you could simply walk into the bottom of the ocean.

 

i discovered the error, let everyone in the lobby know what was happening and people joined me in a nice, "underwater freeroam battle".

I'd love to see such a vehicle in-game, spawning at random at sea or near Merryweather docks.

 

But i wonder if size would matter.

 

It seems that in physics of GTA5, the mass adds damage to the vehicle, when it collides with anything, making a big vehicle rather explodey.

I like the idea. It would give me a reason to explore the waters more and maybe explore or battle with other people using the boat or just raid people using unarmed boats.

 

Also, I like the design of your boat but the "LOS SANTOS NAVY" part doesn't really work. It should be "U.S. NAVY" or "U.S. COAST GUARD".

But that's why the OP's idea is so great – it would become a new attraction, much akin to Jets.

 

If the only way you could access one of these military vessels was to steal one, then players would likely go for it.

 

Imagine the sea battles you could have if players had 3 or 4 of these out at a time? Epic!

 

And what if – and I know this is crazythinking – they mounted an anti-aircraft weapon on board that could take out a Lazer in one shot?

I think a Coast Guard cutter would be more fitting so it could be used by the AI Law Enforcement when pursuing on the water (it would have a mounted LMG on it), in addition, we could have it without the CG livery and perhaps be able to get both variants from Pegasus?

I'd be all for a Destroyer or Battleship. Especially if it's anchored off the coast by Fort Zancudo, and has surface to air missiles and two or three of the rail guns that Michael used to shoot down the private plane in story mode. Why make life easier for those trolls in jets?
