I still stand by my estermation that heists will be EXACTLY the same as shop robbing but in the currantly closed (but fully interiored) banks dotted around the map with higher payouts.... until they get nerfed cause everyone is too rich and not buying cash cards...

Heists are not going to be game-changer, but here are something more close in term of gameplay:

— Custom lobbies with adjustable day-night cycles, weather and traffic, friendly fire and ability to turn off police;

— Ability to store and mod police vehicles or at least order them from Pegasus;

— More advanced content creator, unlocked and open in free-roam interiors with ability to place our custom DMs inside;

— Ability to mod vans, more car modifications focused not only on speed but on off-road capabilities;

— Armed version of JB700;

— Duke o death;

— Unlimited garage space for our cars with 2 on-call garages available for delivery through mechanic;

— Apartment access from rooftop helipad and vice-versa with ability to deliver Pegasus vehicle on top of your building;

 

What is funny, that there is no new content required to implement that.

Since the launch of GTA Online, heists have seemed to be the equivalent of the holy land. Everything seems to be pointing to a download that will somehow be a game changer.

 

OK, so when heists drop in the next few weeks or months, then what? What anticipation will keep the community going?

 

How long can GTA V online keep going??

 

I can all but guarantee heists will only disappoint because they want you to buy shark cards. Thus payout will be relatively abysmal for the effort put into it. Maybe 50K tops per player that can be done only once a day. Just you watch.

 

What I want is more actual options like-

 

Be an officer

Be a stripper

Be a farm aid.

Be a dock worker

be a gas station clerk

A fast food clerk

 

I also want some things to return from San Andreas.

Lifts for cars

Exercising

Getting fat

Pool

 

Expand on

 

Clothes hair and equipment expanded to options NPCs uses.

 

also allow animals online.

This is all this game needs to make me keep playing for years ... ofcoarse there will be some horrible mission created ..but like any create and share games , The best missions will get noticed and advertised..

Im hoping for the casino to open.

Would be a great heist location, something like: rob the casino with at least 7 other players, requiring 1 sniper, 1 helicopter pilot, 2 getaway drivers and the other 4 (or more) players hit the vault then escape / kill the owners mafia type henchmen and lose the cops, profit $$$$$$$.

 

They (heists) better be good, it's taken so long it unreal.

 

 

A mission creator would be even better imo.

Yeah that actually does sound pretty cool, but I was thinking somewhere along the lines of actually being able to enter and join in on a game of Texas Hold'em and the sorts lol.

I find it funny the people who say about needing new content or they will leave. all they will ever release are few missions, cars and maybe new races.

 

I don't believe there will ever be a mission creator as what need will people have to upgrade to Gta VI one day. You could just copy the missions into Gta v.

 

This is the only game I've played for over a year and keep coming back too.

They make to much money off of cash cards if they release heists it'll be after they've felt they have milked shark cards dry, I will also wadger they will have a timer on hiests when hey do come out somewhat like challenges had,, your not just going to be able to run heists like missions so don't expect it, it could be a day lock or week lock.... Knowing Rockstar they are not going to let you get rich off of hiests so youre really just waiting on nothing...

You've got no idea what is going on inside my head and actually you're not interested about it, so please don't post about it.

A lot of my friends from PC gaming are still playing multiplayer in IV and modding the game in offline. On this forum IV section is pretty active and after a recent sale on Xbox 360 I discovered populated lobbies. The game is definitely not dead.

Post-heists, the only substantial update I can imagine is the Mission Creator. Yeah, we'll have dozens of stupid "1,000,000+RP$100,000,000" missions, but hidden among all that crap we will have a few select players who really put some effort into it and crank out some stellar ones.

 

After that, last-gen will likely be abandoned completely and updates will continue only on PS4/XBone. MAYBE they will include map additions, but only tiny pieces, and probably only once or twice. Then only the single-player DLC will be left, and judging by how long it's taken Rockstar to ALMOST crank out heists, by the time we get to the single-player DLC, we'll be standing at the dawn of GTAVI. And then, everything will start over. . . .

I don't care about heists, I want more missions because I've played the present set to death which has been the major reason for getting to level 440, except apparently there's one mission from the last update (or one previous) that Martin hasn't yet given me

No but seriously, everyones gonna be disappointed because we've waited TOO long for heists, too much hype is BAD. Remember Flight School? All yeah Hydra and Hunter I can't wait! Then all we got was some reskinned vehicles? Heists won't be the savior of GTA V, if anything it will be the end of it, people overestimate what we're gonna get, Its been more than a year and we're still here, and thats the only reason a few are sticking around. They're waiting for heists. I'm not saying the entire GTA community will just abandon the series, no, lots of people will stick around for a long time. In my situation I don't have the time during the day to play games at all, but I'll still play online when I have the chance.

 

 

Most have already abandoned it.....the PS3 version at least. My friends list was 99% GTA Online players, and for months on any given night I might have 40-60 friends logged in....this week it rarely gets above 20, and has been like this steadily since soon after the crap LTS update.

 

I have noticed way more Destiny, CoD, and some other games on my friends list....before it was almost purely GTA.

sh*t ! although , their twitter account was suspended . their FB still intact and i'm worried if my update too late to " touch down " ( successfuly downloaded ) and get DDOSed . not to mention how big it is the content : hydra , technicals , armored vehicles , kuruma , winch cargobob , carrier ship , actor placed by R* , props , scripts & event , etc

After heists, I hope GTAO dies down in terms of bank for Rockstar so we can get the next Red Dead already. Thanks to GTA's two-years-in-a-row sales, we will not be seeing that game until at least 2016. Good job, Rockstar.

Rockstar were/and are developing/publishing Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, LA Noire, Mobile Vice City, Mobile San Andreas and Agent at the same time GTA V was being developed and published. They have multiple studios across multiple countries with literally thousands upon thousands of employees.

 

Just because GTA V has had 2 years of good sales doesn't mean they get to slack off for 2 years. /f*cklogic
