Since the launch of GTA Online, heists have seemed to be the equivalent of the holy land. Everything seems to be pointing to a download that will somehow be a game changer.

 

OK, so when heists drop in the next few weeks or months, then what? What anticipation will keep the community going?

 

How long can GTA V online keep going??

Heists aren't going to change a damn thing.

 

Instead of a "go fetch this" or "go kill that" mission, the heists will be a "go fetch this, THEN kill that" mission.....the children will be in a masturbatory frenzy for about 2 weeks until their sugar-rushes wear off, then they will nagging for more heists. Meanwhile the rest of the players will have left for a game with a staff that takes their game seriously.

After heists, I hope GTAO dies down in terms of bank for Rockstar so we can get the next Red Dead already. Thanks to GTA's two-years-in-a-row sales, we will not be seeing that game until at least 2016. Good job, Rockstar.

No but seriously, everyones gonna be disappointed because we've waited TOO long for heists, too much hype is BAD. Remember Flight School? All yeah Hydra and Hunter I can't wait! Then all we got was some reskinned vehicles? Heists won't be the savior of GTA V, if anything it will be the end of it, people overestimate what we're gonna get, Its been more than a year and we're still here, and thats the only reason a few are sticking around. They're waiting for heists. I'm not saying the entire GTA community will just abandon the series, no, lots of people will stick around for a long time. In my situation I don't have the time during the day to play games at all, but I'll still play online when I have the chance.

Among other things, High Level Unlocks are needed! There is nothing for me and alot of people to work towards anymore and this is really putting me off playing the game anywhere near as much as before.

After heists we should get mansions and new vehicles. All the money that will be earned will be useless if there's nothing new to buy. One can only hope.

OMG! after all the disasters in previous "creators" .... If they do they should give you an option to never be placed into one from quick jobs

Im hoping for the casino to open.

Would be a great heist location, something like: rob the casino with at least 7 other players, requiring 1 sniper, 1 helicopter pilot, 2 getaway drivers and the other 4 (or more) players hit the vault then escape / kill the owners mafia type henchmen and lose the cops, profit $$$$$$$.

 

They (heists) better be good, it's taken so long it's unreal.

 

 

A mission creator would be even better imo.
