Can someone help. Me and 2 friends just want to do a bunch of contact missions straight after each other. Is this possible?

 

We dont want anyone else to join, just us three. We dont want to have to keep going back to free mode every time we want to do another contact mission.

After each job you will get to a voting screen where you can choose a new mission. If there is no missions you can vote to refresh the page, that can be done twice. So you should be able to find a new mission there. Also make sure matchmaking is set to closed, then no other players will join.

The voting screen often includes no missions or just versues missions. We don't want a choice of races, deathmatches, versuses missions; we solely want to play a bunch of contact missions where we work together without having to keep going back into freemode to do another.

 

Also, the 'closed matchmaking' seems to refresh to 'open' when you vote for a new mission and therefore a bunch of people are usually invited to join before you can change this setting back or we are being put into games with an existing host already.

here's a work around

1) start an invite only session

2) invite friends to the session

3) start the contact mission and let the invited friends join (set matchmaking to closed so no randoms join)

4) do the mission

5) vote for another mission (NOTE: if you have 5+ players, most contact missions will not show since they require up to 4 players. only the few that require more than 4 will show)

 

If no contact missions do not show even after refreshing twice, have everyone vote for freemode. All of you will be sent back into 1 invite only lobby and one member must start a contact mission of their choosing

Surely the could have come up with a better alternative. It seems like such a farse to play a few missions with your mates.

You need to set your options from the main menu screen. When you set match making to "closed", it will stay that way until you change it.

You really want a "playlists". Here's some links. If they don't work, then close out the page & retry the link until it shows up. Their website hates my phone
