Should Buffalo S Be Moved To The Muscle Category?

You don't know jack sh*t and I'm sorry. Start doing some research, look up a 2005 CLS.

Well, aren't you an angry one. Why don't you take a rest for a bit. Like I said, by definition the CLS isn't a coupe, not fully, at least. Four-door coupes are more of a combination of a sedan & a coupe, rather than a real coupe.

I'm not angry, I just find it funny how most of you talk about cars but you don't know jack sh*t about them. And it is a coupe how is it not? Because you don't think it is?

Nevermind. We're going way off-topic & this whole arguement is stupid. I apologize.

Thats weak sauce, brah. I hate to see someone back down like that.

We weren't going to end up anywhere. He has one way of seeing things, I have another way of seeing things. I have other things I would rather spend my time on.

When you're sitting at a table and every one else there seems insane, you might want to check your own head.

Buffalo is a Muscle Car or atleast a four door Coupe.

A four door coupe? That's impossible. A coupe is a two-door car lol.
There are 4 door coupes out there sounds stupid I know but they do exist. Now wither or not the Buffalo s should be a muscle car, no. Muscle cars don't exist no more. No such thing as "modern" muscle. It's a sports car stop debating this you all sound stupid.
You must not be a car guy. Try telling a owner of a new mustang, camaro, challenger, or charger that they dont have a muscle car.

Muscle car has nothing to do with what year the car was made.

None of them are no longer muscle cars. And you telling me other wise, you're crazy. A muscle car was an affordable car, built for performance, and had a V8. Before I debate this any longer with you, I'd like to see where your mind is. If we both had a Chevelle's and mine was an SS and yours wasn't, would yours be considered a "muscle car". Please answer that honestly and you'll talk. Both are muscle cars. Chevelles aren't really a good example, as there were very fast non SS cars. SS was mostly just a trim package. I do understand what you are saying though.

To give you a better idea where my mind is, here are my real life cars that I curremtly own.

Both are Muscle cars in my eyes.

Both are/were affordable cars, built for performance, and have a V8.

Idk why people get so heated about this. Its all good, we are just talking about cars lol. Just call them whatever you like.

Cars need a performance rating or something from which car entries can be permitted/disallowed, at least as an optional system.

I bought a 1957 Chevy truck when I was 13. I bought my Mach 1 when I was 15. I've had many, many vehicles in my lifetime, owning my GT right now. I have a 1500 sq ft garage. I have raced 4 seasons at my local drag strip in multiple classes. I have participated many track days at world class racetracks, including Nurburgring. I was a wrecker driver for my local dirt track for a year. I have been a truck mechanic in the military for 6 years. Hell the first car I ever drove was a 1987 Monte Carlo SS.

I am a car guy. I know what car guys say.

In my opinion, the term Muscle car is much more broad than what some people seem to think.

It's a coupe, but I wish I could have gotten my hands on a Mach 1. I'm pretty sure I've posted a picture or two of it here, it's dark purple. Right now I've got it sitting on Cragar SS wheels, with a 351 Cleveland pushing the tires. It's out of commission at the moment while I restore the interior though.

Technically the Vigero ('69 Camaro), Phoenix (late 70's/ early 80's Firebird), Ruiner (late 80's/ early 90's Firebird/ Camaro), Dominator (2005+ Mustang), and Gauntlet (2008+ Challenger) are Pony Cars.

I'm not the one who, uhh, claims that Mustangs aren't muscle cars and that Al Capone's armored limousine was actually a sports car.

Mustangs aren't muscle cars. They're Pony Cars. A muscle car is a midsize American car with a powerful V8 engine. The Only exceptions are the Buick Grand National/ GNX (turbo V6) and the Australian muscle cars. Do your research.

And Chloroform, a non SS Chevelle can still be a muscle car. A non SS with a 350 is still a muscle car.

Um, no. http://www.cardebater.com/pony-cars-vs-muscle-cars/

I do agree with you but cardebater is a bad example. They try to compare the Viper and vette to be the better supercar or some sh*t. Which neither one of them are considered super sport, just sport cars.

^Wow i just came across the article. Didnt know those people were idiots.

Anyway, the Buffalo is NOT a Sports Car. Maybe its a Sedan with the look and power of a Muscle Car if not simply a Muscle Car period, but its NOT a Sports Car.

I'm going by the original term of muscle car. Not every American V8 car was a muscle car. Only the high performance models were considered muscle cars, then you had Pony cars, etc. Anyways the Buffalo isn't a muscle car, nor is the S model.

No, it would be OP.

The Buffalo S would be overpowered in Muscle? So? Its over $90K no sh*t it would dominate the Muscle class The Charger (which the Buffalo is based on) is a Muscle Sedan. So since it would be WAY overpowered for a Sedan, it should be in the Muscle category. Which would you rather have, overpowered in the class it belongs in (Muscle), or average in a class that it feels out of place in (Sports)?

Well by R* standards, it appears Mustangs, Challengers, and several other "not muscle cars" are considered Muscle cars.

Well I guess thats it for me. Headed to bed. Thanks for the discussion guys, you do make good points no doubt.

Got to get up early to put gas in my "not muscle car" Mustang before work.

Goodnight.

I hope you put at least 89 in that pony car.

Lol. I checked one last time and you made me chuckle. Believe it or not it takes 87 lol. Not bad for 315 hp stock.

Now the other car, that takes 116 race fuel lol.

Anyways goodnight for real. Good discussion.

The problem with this argument is that the Buffalo S is only a second faster than a Dominator, so it wouldn't be overpowered. I think it should be moved to Muscle, like the Blista Compact, they are two cars that wouldn't absolutely dominate a class, but they would be great additions to them. Especially since the Sports Class is absurdly crowded with around 25 cars, where as Compacts have 6 and muscle around 15. The thing is, as a person who doesn't get geeky about classes, the Buffalo looks like and drives like a Muscle to me.

The Voltic should be moved to Sports imo as a additional note.

There is such a thing as a four door coupe. You guys just dont know why a car with 4 doors is called a coupe aswell. I have explained this before, not gonna do it again. Just look it up.

DarkSavageDeathlyCloud

It shoud stay exactly where it is because it woud otherwise be overpowered

Also the car is realy a muscle car/sport car/sedan at the same time
