The blade is only faster on tracks with no straight really.

 

Thing is really good drivers can use dominators round corners well enough to need minimal straights to make up for the blades superior acceleration and handling.

 

Blade has top speed of 175

Gauntlet and Blade have always beaten the Stang at traction, of course.

 

That's why most Stang drivers are pro drivers. You think normal drivers can handle the turns on a Stang? They can't even finish El Burro Heists, dude.

Well for me the blade has sensational handling...maybe it's driving style or perhaps you're not able to get the most out of it.

Broughy certainly placed it in second behind the dominator

I jumped in a dominator with a random guy once and he drove me all around the city with the most impressive driving I've ever seen anyone in GTA pull off. I then told him he's a freakin pro. He then told me he's got a few world records in muscle cars. Dude had unknown skills, I added him as a friend but since not sure which one of my friends he is..

Can't deny that, but you have to agree that the understeer is strong with the Blade. Just so rigid… I've gotten pretty good at it, though, as I drive my Monroe a lot.

Gauntlet and Blade have always beaten the Stang at traction, of course.

True! 7/10 times I see someone driving a tail happy car in missions (Dominator, JB700, Coquette Classic) they end up spinning out in every turn.

The pigalle has understeer much closer in that class.

Pigalle doesn't suffer from understeer at all, man. It's one of the quickest around corners in that class and in terms of overall handling it is agile as hell.

The Monroe has horrible brakes, though, so you have to prepare for the turns sooner. The turning itself also isn't that great. Despite this, it's still tied with the Pigalle as my fav in that class and in the whole game. :p

The pigalle is the quickest round corners and probably my fave along with the phoenix...but it's stability is due to it being front wheel drive which by it's very nature ala blista understeers.

 

The Monroe is tail happy and oversteers more than understeers in my experience

I guess the Monroe can oversteer too sometimes. I've had some instances of significant oversteer at high speeds, though I think that's what it excels at. I wouldn't use it for tight cornering as the brakes aren't the best (it doesn't help that traffic is almost always on in races and NPC drivers are assholes), but its acceleration is incredible and it always feels super fast when you're driving it!

I know sedan means 4 doors, 4 people or more, but we can't exactly be that board with cars now can we?

Performance 4-door muscle cars have existed for quite awhile now guys, it has 4 doors, but the company isn't gonna call it just a sedan if it's purpose was to burn rubber while holding a few extra people.

 

"Wow, a Dodge charger, that sounds exciting!"

"Oh yes, it's a seedaaan"

Saying the Buffalo shouldnt be in Muscle is like saying Adder shouldnt be in Super. If it were up to me, these two other cars would be moved as well:

The Dodge Charger (the car the Buffalo is based on) IS a Muscle Car.

 

Because everything about that car SCREAMS muscle car, and R* is able to change the category of a vehicle (Super Diamond used to be in Sports, not Sedans). Buffalo normal, im not sure, maybe Sedan?

If they did change it, it would ruin the muscle car races because of it's superior performance in comparison, which is probably why they haven't changed it in the first place.

 

And yet they have no problem having vastly superior cars in the Super category

I've done research when thinking the same thing. Dodge has classified the charger as a Sedan. It's okay, though, the old muscle is in next-gen.

so what if the buffalo S is a four-door car? the Polaris V8 from vice city stories has four doors, yet it's a bloody muscle car.
