Killing New Gen Passive mode users

On new gen, has anyone had people running you over but you can't kill them because they are in passive? It gets on my nerves because I can't do anything...

 

I'm more interested in how they do it..

Passive mode glitch. It's very simple. Enable passive mode, then switch session. Now you're no ghost anymore. But as soon as you kill an other player, your passive mode disables. When you re-enable it now, you're a ghost again.

Climb up a wall and stand on it passive mode.

 

Problem solved from ghost riders

until a cargobob comes along and knocks your ass into the street where 'they' can get you.

 

 

 

You would have to be really stupid to allow that to happen.

 

Do people have any guts or brains on GTA Online anymore?

People like you ruin this game. There are players who like to play passively and enjoy interacting with other online players without having to worry about getting shot down by every player who comes close. Passive mode allows us to do this. Just because you can't kill us when we use it doesn't mean we are pussies.

Frendly Fire: Off

 

This was not a problem in IV

 

Friendly Fire: Off lobbies were complete kill-fests in IV (TBOGT especially). Rockets and bombs catapulted you through the air and you were injured on landing, and you died if your car was blown up.

 

However, proper Passive lobbies would work if implemented properly (read: will never happen).

I don't know what kind of players you get, but FF off lobbies in 4 means they're just a buncha stunt drivers.

 

 

They are the reason why I'm so good with a car and have zero stunt experience with a bike, 'cause bikes spawn rarely in the airport.

While this new passive mode is good for true passive players, its also a huge tool for trolls. I have come across many players who try to act friendly then kill you. As soon as you spawn if they cant kill you again right away, they will jump in passive mode, follow you around until you are distracted, then turn off passive and kill you.

 

I have a solution to passive mode. Keep it exactly how it is now but you can ONLY activate/deactivate it from your apartment/garage. With one exception, If you are killed by a player(s) 5 times in a row without killing another, you get the Passive mode popup when you die the 5th time. That takes away the passive mode abusers.

 

 

Also as an aside, I dont know if anyone else has come across this before but on a few occasions I have ran over and killed people that were in passive mode. Maybe it was a glitch or they might have been coming out of passive to surprise attack.

I think the way to fix it is to make the reactivation timer 30 seconds up to a minute. Then you couldn't jump out of passive mode quick enough to troll. You'd likely die before getting your guns out.

 

I believe you can also use a boat trailer towed by Bison or Saddler to run over passives on foot. I doubt just the boat trailer would destroy a car.

and if you want to interact with random people by force with your stupid annoying passive mode following them around your even more of a problem and deserve to be spawn trapped

My idea: Every time you kill someone, passive mode delay gets an extra 1 minute.

 

You can't interact with people in Invite Only, Einstein. There's no people there. Wow, the stupid people are coming out of the woodwork.

I expected this kind of reply. So predictable.

 

Why should I go to invite only when you could do that very same thing? Or better yet, you could simply swap discs and play COD to get your murdering fix.

 

Explain why passive mode is a problem? I been using passive since day 1 and never had a single problem or glitch. Nice excuse.
