He is gullible and was blinded by the fact that he was making a deal forgeting that the guy may try to rip him off. He would probably find out by selling the stuff to someone else and getting into trouble as the customer(s) would have a strap and think that Lamar tries to cheat them or when he would "test it" at home. RussianCommie Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 Even in the mission 'Lamar Down' when you have to go to the sawmill and rescue Lamar, on the ride back, Franklin tells Lamar surely that Stretch had set them up back when they went to the recycling plant early in the story and it turned into a shoot out of course. Lamar was still skeptical and didn't want to believe Franklin after Franklin laid more than one reason as to why Stretch was going behind their back in 'Lamar Down', so he wasn't the smartest character.
