Passive mode + Simeon Vehicle

So I see a Simeon vehicle being taken by someone (the green icon car) and naturally go after them, but notice that they're in that new transparent passive mode and I can't do sh*t to take that car away from them and they deliver it without any hassle..

 

Is this how it's supposed to be now or was this overlooked by rockstar, because if it's intended, I'm calling huge bullsh*t on this one.

They weren't lvl fours, they were lvl 200+ and no I never take or blow up the car if it's a low lvl taking it, I'm not that much of an asshole..

Another Loophole I guess, given exploding Vehicles near a Passive Mode player does not seem to affect them anymore (at least when they are in a Vehicle; maybe it does on Foot never tried).

It did me well to learn what getting chased by a bunch of people was like. I'm just saying man, yes it is nice to leave them alone, but from time to time it's fun to do the oter

I'm guessing you get credited for the kill, as I was once credited for a kill when I bailed out of my buzzard and the lazer pilot crashed into it.

I used it to get the HPV last night - but with the solid passive mode bug.

 

I nicked the car of some guy driving it. Three guys did everything to stop me getting it to LSC. I drove all the way to another one on 4 shot out tyres. A guy was lying in wait at Simeon's. He'd loaded the place with stickies, blocked the doorway with his car (I just battered it out of the way with the HPV!)

 

That was some fun. I couldn't give a toss about the money - I'd wrecked the car - but seeing those guys trying to take it off me was a treat.

I ran into this by accident, I was in the new passive / god mode spawning Hearses yesterday when the HPV spawned at the golf course.

 

I hoped in, drove to LSC and delivered to docks, all the way being chased by cars, shot at by about 10 players and rocketed by a buzzard..all to no avail!!

 

R* really screwed the pooch trying to pacify all the sims players that wanted a binkey to suck on....

Lol i did that yesterday. The guys chasing me were entertaining. Especially when one dude blocked the door with his sandking and the guy who had been chasing me in the buzzard accidentally blew it up and cleared the path while trying to kill me.

That would be quite an elegant solution to the problem. If a high level is using passive to deliver a HPV, block Simeone's garage with a car and plant a sticky bomb on it then wait for the HPV to arrive. When they get out of the HPV to remove your car, set off the sticky bomb and jump into the HPV yourself.

 

If they exit passive mode to deal with you then it's a fair fight, and if you die then you've got nothing to complain about.

No, you can't do that - you can only get in as a passenger (at best). In fact, the only way I've found that a passive player can be in any way "attacked" is if a player with a wanted level gets in their car. The passive player obviously then gets the same wanted level but can't defend themselves against the police, without coming out of passive mode (giving you 10 seconds to shoot them in the face).

Do you get the kill then or does the game just say "X died"?X diedIsn't true, or it depends on something. I just killed some passive player with my car and the game said I was the one who killed that player.

 

 

 

Before anyone is getting angry at me for killing a poor and innocent passive mode player that is just minding his own business, he killed me first, then went passive.
