Bounty Courtesy

I only give them the money if it's a friend or stranger who has actually asked me to kill them just to get rid of it. Never if it's just a random with a bounty why should I?

I do try not to blow bounties up though, it's either an AP pistol through the back window or a sniper shot if they're on foot. The clean kills are much more satisfying to me than blowing them up and more often than not losing money.

If I enjoyed the chase then I'll give them the money, or if they're a low level then I *may* give them the money. It depends on my mood really.

Whats all this give them the money crap. Their are times when I have spared a Bounty from my judgment because they impressed me & I didn't have the heart to waste them after their efforts but never have I given away money.

I am not a big bounty hunter, I don't care about going after them unless they are causing chaos, killing everyone, with a tank or something, then I get my tank and kill them. Now when I have a bounty on my head, I like to get inside my tank too sometimes so I can laugh at the poor bastards thinking they'd be making some money out of me. Funny to watch them turn to my street in a car with two guys, and they trying to back up as soon as they see a tank.

If im with friends or crew I split the takings, if im on my own I split it with the target.

its not like its a game changing amount of money anyway, its just how I roll..

I'll waste 4k in sticky bombs and 12k on their adder just for a 1k bounty. It's not about the money. I'm not even sure why I like it so much. Racking up the stat is nice but thats not it either. I think its more about knowing that I can put someone down as fast a possible.

If its a particularly cheap kill like coming out of a mission I will give half or even all of it to the deceased. But a bounty is never safe when I'm in session.

f*cking hate bounties. I mind my own buisness most of the time offroading or exploring the map then some f*cking dead ped puts a bounty on me of some random asshat in game for no reason. Then i got f*ckers annoying me and blowing my car up. I f*cking hate the inconvenience of a bounty. I will even get out of my car so they dont ruin it but 9/10 they blow my car up anyways. f*ckers

In my crew, we give our full bounties to another crew member or ally if they ask. We don't split or anything like that.

A few in the crew when hunting bounties in a lobby of randoms keep it all. I leave that up to them (as I'm crew leader). Generally, If I get a bounty which is rare, because I'm not much of a shooting type, I give it all back. I'm more than financially comfortable in the game. No need to get all greedy over 9k, especially if it's a lower level struggling to afford ammo.

Cheers.

passive mode = no bounties

Getting a bounty on me is one of my favorite parts of the game. It's probably 5 year old me kicking in "Bet ya can't catch me!" My favorite thing is to go into the hills on my Bati. Go head on towards a car chasing me and barely miss, always stay close to them but fast enough that they can't get you. Just be annoying. Eventually punch it and get way away. Or holding up on a rooftop or some good vantage point and having shootouts,

I don't understand why people get so upset. You're going to get killed in this game. If your car gets effed up you can just start a mission then quit before it starts. Car is good as new. If it's blown up, call insurance, no car, call mechanic. Inconvenient I guess, but you can have your car back in about 30 seconds.

If you just want to off-road or drive around and rage when you get killed, you've heard this solution 1000x. Go to a private session.

Yeah, getting uptight over getting killed for a bounty by a random is pointless. I only get mad if an ally or crew member offs me without asking. To my friends, I expect the courtesy of asking on that one. Everyone else, I just assume they want to off me and get the money. It's on me to avoid it.

Last night I had a laugh, I was in my Apt with a bounty in a full lobby and I had them circling like vultures. I was watching the map maybe 10 people just hovering. I waited until a few more came over and then I left the lobby and played friends only. Messing with people with a bounty can be fun. I really like that you come at THEM. NICE! Bet that screws 'em all up.

RE: being annoying. I've been following tanks in passive just blowing my horn at them for 5-10 minutes straight. I think it's funny as hell. In passive I go into hot zones and watch people drop money and pick it up. I made like 6k last night. Meanwhile people are calling me names, parts of anatomy etc. They are losing money and I'm making it. Who's the idiot? lol

If I'm with the homies I'll split the bounty. Otherwise I don't really give a f*ck. Sticky bombs, rpgs, jets and bullets. I don't expect mercy to be given to me so I give no quarter. I mean it's gta. What's with this chivalry gimmick? And if they have a problem with it, they can come and fight about it. I'll stand my ground.

When I play and a bounty pops up, I head straight to it, as most do.

BUT I always try to not damage thier vehicles body, and unless im with friends, I usually give half to the victim. I was wondering if im alone or if others do the same.

i show no mercy

I kill them, bank the money and then proceed to kill them over and over.

They received the bounty for acting immorally and deserve unethical treatment!!!!!!!!

LOL, no but seriously, I don't share the money and I don't kill the person again unless they shoot at me. The reason I don't share the money is because half the time, the cost of going after a bounty is just about covers the cost of ammo or stickies. I hate it when you chase someone, kill em, and get the notification telling you it was only $1000!!! so annoying xD

Each time I will share 50% of the money. But if the person comes back for revenge (more than once),I will pick up the other 50% from its dead body.

Back in my hustlin days I would go from lobby to lobby in my blacked out phister comet bounty hunting.

Spare no expense.

Pocket the spoils.

Now i do it for teh lulz. I always go after a bounty. And 9/10 I give 100% to the victim (I am financially stable)

I love a good chase/epic standoffs.

I don't share the money with my prey. The $$$ is my prize, my "trophy".
I don't deliberately try to destroy a bounty's car unless he's hostile (which is kinda funny now that I'm thinking about it because by trying to kill him I'm the hostile dude in this situation).

I like hunting bountys but if I notice that the bounty is a low level dude I won't go after him because I feel bad after killing someone who probably has not yet developed the skills to defend himself.

Some people steal a car and get a bounty, it doesnt feel right just murdering them.

And some people steal a car in order to get a bounty on themselves so that people will try to murder them.

I don't really need the money for bounties. If I kill one I'll give all the money to the victim or, if they're an ass, I'll give it to the lowest level in the session. I've hit the cap for sharing cash quite a few times.

In many cases the kill is very quick (I drive towards the target and kill him with the Micro SMG) but sometimes the bounty is throwing sticky bombs while you're chasing him and, well, I don't like it.

I generally only kill the same bounty hunter 3 or 4 times before they finally rage quit or call in more suckers to get killed. I actively seek bounties. I use multiple tactics to keep killing the douchebags. They think I'm gonna be trying to hide or avoid them. I'm not hiding I'm hunting you. I had to actively piss someone off or steal enough cars to get this bounty put on me. Now I have the bait. Come let me troll you! It might look like I'm running. I'm probably just luring you to your death.

If I get a bounty I share with my friend.

If I'm winning a race and others are far back, I wait just before the finish for them to get there so they don't get a DNF. If they're noobs I let them win. More than one noob, I let them all finish before me.They need the race wins more than I do. I don't mind coming in last place. Sometimes they send me a thank you.

Most of the time when I see a bounty getting chased around by half the lobby, I'll offer to split it with them regardless of level. I've had the same done for me so it's only fair to pass on the kindness, imo.

I only go after bounties if they are REALLY close by anymore, since they usually end up only being not worth it.

Other than that, the only thing I don't do is blow up their car because it always costs me more money to do that than get the bounty.

I rarely, if ever, go after bounties, but if I happen to kill one I'll send 50% of it their way. Money isn't that hard to get, so I really don't mind splitting it.
