Youruiner
Back when I had the game on 360, I never bothered to get 100%.. I just finished the story and most strangers and freaks.. Now that i'm finished the story again, this time around I did the assassination missions last, so I have bought all the properties I couldn't on last gen.. I want to go for the 100% (like absolutely everything, not the ~official 100%~) Is it worth it? like is it actually fun to hunt down everything in the game etc? What are your opinions? OBeef619
I don't know your definition of fun. But if you like flying around the map for 2 hours searching for little objects, then it's fun. It gets pretty boring and I don't ever intend on doing it again. Hobbies/pastimes were fun and I liked the submarine/dinghy side missions even if they weren't for 100%. Uncle_T
93% for me,I never finished letters, spaceship parts, stunt jumps its just boring better to free roam
Johan
It's only worth it if you're looking to get the entire experience of the game... though there's nothing to really show for it in the end since the game will only show the "official 100%" stats. I'll probably give it a shot too, left me skipping out on a lot of stuff that I didn't bother trying just because it wouldn't get me closer to achieving 100%. Zoolock
To be honest it's pointless getting 100%, It does unlock a hidden a mission at the end & a red 100% T-Shirt but it's not really worth the effort.
ItsJustMeSrsly
It depends on your approach! If you intend to AIM for collectibles (like having to pick one piece of something, then second ,third etc...until all of them are gathered at once) then it gets boring! But if you just roaming the city and occasionally stumble upon those collectible things, then they sure makes it feel like a nice bonus! I noticed that when i aim towards collecting every single piece of this and that in ANY game intentially, i eventually lose interest and even sometimes it makes me bored of the game as a whole and ruins an impression! That doesn't seem to happen when i just randomly run onto those things, instead of trying to look hard for them every here and there around every corner!... backfromthestorm
^ but I'd be bored of the game long before I've collected everything doing it that way. I'd have to go on a hunt eventually.
Fuzzknuckles
I got 100% on LG version, I intend to do the same now I've finished the story on CG version. It's a bit boring, but you have the knowledge that you've done EVERYTHING. Signatures are dumb anyway.
MrDeSanta
I only did it cause i wanted to see those UFOs. It`s kind of boring to collect all that sh*t but if you do it with helicopter you`ll finish all in matter of hours. At least you can observe an incredible landscape while at it. r3h4n786
There's not really any incentive for 100%, the rewards suck. If it was similiar to San Andreas 100% reward id do it.
woggleman
Just get a helicopter and use the social club map. MrDeSanta
fac316
This is the first GTA I've done wherr I didn't use a map to find all the collectibles. Since we gotta wait 5 years for VI might as well take my time.
Cutter De Blanc
Got all the collectables, stunt jumps, bridges, and knife flights for %100 done. It wasn't too boring. Helped that I could skip some of the knife flights, because the one in Hawick where you have to fly through the alleyway is just stupid difficult. Who thought, "Lets have them fly through that" You can barely fit a car in that alley. But yeah, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. MrDeSanta
Besra is the best aircraft for doing knifes. I can easily do that knife flight in Besra. Lazer is good too but little too big for that particular knife flight in Hawick. And quick saving after and before every knife flight. I`d say that going for 100% in V is the least frustrating in GTA series. Because the map is so beautifull that you couldn`t get bored even while colecting those things. At least IMO. Just flying in the helicopter while at it is amazing. Especially in new gen. While i really needed to force myself to go for 100% in other GTA games because it was boring as hell, i had no problems to do that in V twice. On time on lg and one time on ng.
