The players in IV who were frustrated with trying to figure out if the armored NOOSE dude on the floor was still alive or not without firing an extra clip. In fact there have been quite a few times where an enemy has gotten back up and shot me from the side or something because I started focusing on another enemy thinking the first one was dead. I lost count of how many times I got unexpectedly sprayed by wounded guys on the ground out of nowhere...However, if I just want to f*ck around or create a more realistic experience, I agree that it would be cool to at least make it optional. saintsrow Posted December 12, 2014 Share Posted December 12, 2014 Well, I like the flash, since it confirms that an NPC that I shot has died, so I don't have to come out of cover and take a chance getting shot (by him or another NPC), to find out if he's dead or just laying there quietly. Part of that challenge is making sure the enemy is bloody dead. Not the computer aiding me.. Doesn't feel right.
