Federation History -

The American Federation was established in the wake of the multiple conflicts in the middles east which triggered a global energy crisis after the region was torn apart. Many first world countries were crippled like the United States, and many NATO allies along with Russia, China, and India. While other nations were spread thin trying to maintain order the United States Army 5 star general pulled all troops out of the middles east and other regions against the presidents orders. At the time the president of the US was taking to much power so the generals and admirals of the US armed forces Overthrew him and elected the US army's general the new president. Since the US was also crippled from the Global energy crisis and had all troops in US territory it invaded Central and South America for its resources that were destroyed or used up in the middle east and thus, The Federation of the Americas was born. They control all land in the american continents and combined there military's making the largest and most advanced ground, air, and naval force in history. Canada, fearing the power of the Federation joined them. All the individual countries were turned to states of the Federation and all the former US states were combined to one large state. The Federation is a monarchy which means one person has all the power. But all the Federation states have a governor that run them and the president of the federation takes advice from them. All the military leaders also formed a group to make strategic military moves, this group is called The Council of Commanders. All of these groups voted for the new countries capital and it was Los Angeles, California which was then renamed to Los Santos.

Equipment and Arsenal -

A lot came with the invasion of over 20 countries like many very intelligent inventors and scientist which led the federation to be many decades ahead of the world in almost every category including bio-weapons. The standard issue weapons for recruits for each branch is as follows. (remember these are strictly the standard issue weapons, other weapons like the baton for the military police or sticky bombs for demolitions teams are used)

Knife -

All soldiers of the Federation of the Americas are issued a knife for close quarters combat. The standard issue knife is the serrated edge SOG Seal pup elite.

Combat Pistol -

All Soldiers of the Federation of the Americas has a Combat Pistol as his/her sidearm. The standard issue sidearm is the H&K P2000.

SMG -

The federation uses the SMG for close quarters battle. The standard issue SMG is the H&K MP5.

Heavy Shotgun -

When federation troops need to breach a door or clear a room they use there trusty heavy shotgun. The standard issue heavy shotgun is the Saiga 12K.

Carbine Rifle -

The crown jewel of the federations military small arms. All Federation soldiers are issued a carbine rifle. The standard issue carbine rifle is the H&K 416

Combat MG -

almost every ground unit of the Federation has a SAW, Squad automatic gunner. The standard issue MG for the SAW is the FN M249.

Heavy Sniper -

One shot, one kill. The motto of the Federations Top marksmen. The standard issue heavy sniper has no problem fulfilling that motto with ease. its accurate, its powerful, its loud, its the Barrett M82.
