Enemy auto aim needs FIX

If they made enemy fire less accurate, then players would actually be able to complete difficult missions repeatedly...

Which mission are difficult in this game? only one is death from above which can be quite annoying at low levels

Idk if anyone else has mentioned this but its the damage output they are tweaking.

The accuracy hasnt been buffed as much as the damage the ai is inflicting. Ive noticed after the last few mission rebalances I get torn thru much quicker even tho I have max health.

I'd like to see smarter AI rather than overpowered ones

That is what they did you know. I know lazy when I see it

When ranking up my first character on the 360, I rarely died during missions. Now that I'm ranking up my second character and having to play missions again, death is inevitable, even in auto aim.

I mean drugged up bikers and gang bangers have the same accuracy as cops, merc's and army guys? Yeah right......

Now that you mentioned all of those guys, there is something bugging me about their health. I got into a police chase earlier, used the Pistol .50, and managed to kill each one with 1-2 shots, with one shot being fatal enough to make them bleed out. No big deal.. Perfectly normal.

Fast-forward to Crystal Clear out and it took 4-6 shots from said gun to kill a redneck in a tank top and overalls, and Vagos with their ragged clothes.... 4-6 .50AE bullets, chest shots, no body armor. The more I let that sink in, the more it pisses me off.

I should have recorded that with the DVR on the XB1 as proof..

It was playing Crystal Clear Out that got me thinking. The way the guys on the boats were able to rip my character to shreds yet they were barely in range for me was ridiculous. Doesn't help that it looks like your characters health is glitched (I think). Been ranking up my second character - up to 35 now - and I've noticed that the health stat' is constantly 20/100 whenever I rank up. So the amount of damage that character can take is minimal. Can't remember if this is normal seeing as it's about a year since my main character was at this rank.

It's just poor game design. I'm not surprised you're talking about accuracy which is in fact ridiculous, but I'm surprised that it's the only issue you're addressing. Here is my list:

— A.I. adaptive positioning when you're free aiming at them with sniper rifle. I'm shooting from a very serious range and enemy is literally dancing, breaking my aim. He can't see me, of course. Check that for yourself;

— Enemy spawn: from nowhere, guns drawn, combat ready, deadly accurate, in numerous waves. I can handle it, but it's laughable and it is poor design;

— Ability to use weapons beyond the limits in terms of range and rate of fire: UZI in range of assault rifle;

— Enormous amount of heath: several .50 rounds are enough to stop a car, not a human with body armour.

As a kind of experienced sniper with >2,000 kills with sniper rifle in free roam I can assure you, that the dancing is the most laughable thing. It happens in Coveted, RR, and pretty much every non-Simeon/Gerald mission.

Yes it's insane. If there is one reason to have fully assisted aiming it is in missions set on hard. Even then it is not evenly balanced. They can shoot you right in the eye while bending over backwards.

It's not even the aim bot that annoys me, it is the extreme aggression of these f*ckers. Same story with the cops. They should definitely nerf it a bit because it is borderline gamebreaking imo.

Yeah, the A,I. miracle shots--those blindfire headshots from 300m--can be pretty frustrating. It doesn't happen to me anywhere near as often as it did at launch, but still does now and then. Maybe now I'm just habitually more cautious now about leaving myself exposed. When it does happen though, nothing to do but just have a laugh and quick restart. It is what it is and Rockstar apparently intended every A.I. to be a crack shot, otherwise it'd have been changed somewhere along the lines.

What pisses me off the most is, how could a gangsta thug wannabe snipe the very tip of my head 836384 yards away with their sh*t gun, while the *COPS* doesn't have as much accuracy they have?

Free Aim became nearly unenjoyable due to to this sh*t. When they tweak them to become like the ones in SP at least under the Free Aim setting I'll make the switch.

For me it's impossible to complete several gang attacks in free aim. Especially that one at the island. Good luck free-aiming Chemical extraction.

The AI, and game is built around the player using Auto-aim, just like all the previous GTA games. That's why they are uber accurate even while blind firing. Unfortunately, switching to Free Aim doesn't really have that much of affect with the AI which it really should.

But the AI isn't as bullsh*t in SP. They actually seem realistic, at least for AA. But unlike Online, they got some sort of Godly help with their shooting.

I disagree. It was easier to program them this way. Tweak how the AI respond, take cover, retreat, move forward, combat rolls and have them act like players, or give them super aim and they hide behind whatevers closest and just stay there blindfiring

lazy.

Sorry for posting a YouTube video, but I just happened to catch a good example of where their accuracy is a bit over the top. The quality sucks... Xbox One DVR on a 720p TV.

Yes, I'm using full AA. I just can't compete with their accuracy in FA, especially with this dead zone on the joysticks. :/

The only issue I have is no matter how fast you may be traveling in an air or ground vehicle they they can keep shot placement. Going top speed and swerving on a motorcycle would likely be hard to get shots on but the npc's aim seems to accelerate to crazy speeds. Would like it if thier aim would only go so quick so the auto aim would lose track and have to catch up. For the most part I do like how if you give them any opening they'll punish you. Where even one can put you down if your not careful.

Started a new character, Rank 20 now. I started Gassed Up and brought NY Nemesis with me. Everything is fine. Collected the goodies, saw a ramp that takes to the main road, took it. SOMEHOW the enemies in cars can lock onto me while I'm flying in my bike and one-shot-killed me.

Bullsh*t.

Would just be nice if they missed sometimes. Hear a bullet fly by or hit a building etc rather than basically 100% accuracy.
