So is there a way to choose the team you start on before a DM, or is that something ugotsmoked's just made up for sake of trying to win an arguement... don't worry I do that sh*t too!

No, there is not, but go back to page 1 and read my post.

Cool ugotsmoked, let's get back on topic - aside from fairness I'd like to hear what someone like yourself looks for in a DM? Weapon-wise, have you made any that I could have a gander at!?

I prefer owned weapons. The fact that someone is not level 120 is their problem.

What about kids spamming RPGs for 10mins doesn't that involve less skill and bother you more than blindfire!

I rarely experience that.

this if the spamming happens then its a match full of everybody with the ability to do so too. Anybody under 120 sometimes 100 we kick them..............but for their own "safety" if you know what I mean.

I pretty much stick with my special carbine.

I prefer the original Carbine and I always encounter RPG spammers on owned. I run mine on Forced+Pickups to make money not to spend it and also to fully eliminate the chance of fools spamming anything other than the same guns everyone else is privy to. Fair's fair!

The host starts on team 1. Team 1 has combat mgs, snipers and rpgs. Team 1 has 7 health spawns. Team 2 has ak 47s and pistols and 2 health spawns.

It's cheating at it's lowest form.

Which maps that!? If stating things like that you need a source! Interenet rule 101!

I have a rpg. So fair is fair.

How are new players meant to level up then!? With their pistol!? Don't hit me with "they get Special Carbines!" cause they cost money and can't compete with RPGs!

I don't have to prove anything. I know what I know.

Damn you ask a lot of questions.

You the police?????

Combat pistol headshots.

If you're quick enough you can probably die at the same time as the RPG shooter.

Yeah ever heard of the befefits of F&P maps, that way they get good at killing other players and not bots!

Preferably I want enough room for creativity and tactical play. Large enough area, with plenty of cover and vertical opportunities. If playing on forced + pickups I want the weapons available to make sense, so no RPG in a single alley map for example.

Creativity. Add a backstory to why we are killing eachother. Recreate other game's famous maps. Place weapons, vehicles and other objects to help balance the playing grounds better. No melee only stuff, no random placements of everything and especially no baiting titles. Just be generally creative and i'll like it.

Roof access is always a key feature when on or near buildings, as a blind man once said "keep on tryin' till I reach my highest ground"

Even if I dislike what a creators done with the map and there's a lot of room for improvement I still won't thumbs down it due to them being creative enough not to add silly titles or meele like you said!

They gotta take their lumps like we all did in the beginning.

I agree with Raavi. Who wants to play in a tunnel with no explosives to stop the campers?

Well the thing about levels is higher players have more health unless you have a good eye and can put down a well placed headshot. I've played as a low level and put down many high levels with well placed head shots who use RPGs. The thing is this an rpg user can easily be thrown off by breaking the strafe and running then they are delayed by trying to reload thats when you hit em. Also use your environments I can't tell you how much pain blowing up a gas tank will save you.......survey the field of violence and see what you can come up with. I had an experience in an LTS match were both guys were in cover but near a gas tank I blew that joint up and the match was over. This is why I stay away from gas tanks as well just in case there are players just as smart or smarter.

He said NO RPG on a single alley map - meaning use your loaf(brain) for timing and not your RPG to de-camp them!

And in the beginning we ALL started with LaMarrs Pistol, then Uzi - they were simplier times when few were that much higher than others!

yeah some covers you can skim the head for a nice headshot, I remember those times.......the come up stage........when it comes to weaponry anybody that is 120 or higher are all on equal terms but its when we match up with the little ones is when the playing field becomes different I am also aware that just because I could kill high level players at a low level does not mean all low levels have the ability to do that. Some people need time to learn while others learn quick or are naturals.

I like maps that are balanced, without any heavy weapons or explosives, and no hold out area for one team.

That's always a good feeling, would still rather kill them in that fashion and I'm level 345 now!

Weapons I class as heavy are - Minigun, RPGs, Grenade Launcher, Auto-Shottie. Also would rather get a nice headshot with any of the non-auto pistols over the AP!

I can't stand the auto shottie. If it's anywhere on the map or you (subjective) use it you (subjective) and your map suck to me. Same with the RPG, Minigun, Grenade launcher or excessive use of explosives.

Even with my heavy weapons I stick to my rifles and will play down to a pistol if i want. I like using my assault smg too. I know its a bit of a scattershot but it works well if you are in a map that is fit for midrange weapons. Its small so its less to whip around cover too.
