Trailer:
Welcome everyone, we’d like to present a brand new server and community to you called SAS (San Andreas Stories) Network. Long story short, our gamemod is written by us a hundred percent, it took more than a half year for us to complete with an average of 8 work hours a day and with an already running server behind our backs: SeeMTA, a hungarian RP server which opened a year ago. Basically SAS Network a CnR RPG & Race server and we tried to put the best of us and of the availabilities in it. We think that the result is great, but we’ll let the facts and pictures show you and of course we recommend every player to try it out, because we tried to comfort everybody.
Let’s have a quick runthrough of what the server offers for us.
side_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png
The basics of the game are the 3 groups: the Civilian, the Criminal and the Law enforcement.
We have to decide where we join with our character and you can obviously change it whenever you want during playtime in the Dashboard.
The Cop (Law enforcement) obviously can’t deal damage to the Civilian, nor the Criminal until the Criminal gets some WANTED STARs.
The Criminals can’t deal damage to the Civilian, but they can damage the Cop and other Criminals. They get WANTED STARs for commiting crimes, which makes them vulnerable to members of the Law enforcement group.
Now that we know the basic information, let’s look deeper into the groups:
Civilian:
This is the group where everybody begins and from there on the player can decide whether to join an other group, or stays in this more relaxed group. 5 jobs await you as a Civilian: the Trucker, the Pilot, the Fisherman, the Lumberjack and the Miner.
(You can find out more about these on the forum, or in the in-game HELP PANEL accessed by pressing the F1 key.)
The game notificates you about every important information in the Notification Center and the chatbox and you get MONEY and XP after every job. As we level more and more, more oppurtinites become available and as our Job experience goes higher, (upon job completion) we can work at better places and with better vehicles. We can pick through jobs, you can accept the job at the workplace, by standing into the GREEN MARKER. You can find the workplace and a description of the job in the in-game HELP PANEL (F1 key), or on your GPS by clicking onto the question mark.
As Civilians, we can also complete Quests, look for the question mark(?) blip on the map.

Long story short, this is the more relaxed layer of the game, for people who like to drive, make money calmly, but the game’s other opportunities are available for them aswell, for example the RACE, which obviously needs a car first, but to buy one you need to make money first and after buying one it’s customizable in the Tuning workshop.
Criminal:
The more dangerous layer of the game. As a Criminal we don’t make money and experience from simple jobs like a Civilian, but from different actions like Store Robbery, Briefcase, Bank Robbery, Criminal Quests, jobs for The Dealer and so on. Every illegal act yields different amounts of WANTED STARs and there will be a bounty put on our heads after a certain amount of WANTED STARs. Our objective is to lose the cops and make as much money as possible without going to jail. Our WANTED STAR decreases by 1 after every 20 minutes. You can find out more about the opportunities in the HELP PANEL (by pressing F1), or by visiting our forum.

Law enforcement:
The guards of order in the game. Their job is to get the Criminals who have WANTER STARs into the cells. If someone has a WANTED STAR and we’re cops, then we will be able to see a yellow star on the GPS and the F11 map aswell. You can see the wanted level of everyone above their heads. If you kill the Criminal, you get minimal rewards, so you mainly wanna catch him and take him to the closest Police station. Every Police station has an ARREST ZONE, which automatically jails the Criminal if you take him into it. The Arrest Zone is a formation drawn by blue lines in front of the police station. The higher the amount of the WANTED STARs, the longer the jail time set by the system (1 WANTED STAR = 10 minutes) and the more rewards you get as a Policeman in terms of MONEY & XP. Your job is to catch ‘em all! Be aware, Criminals with lot of WANTED STARs might be very dangerous. In most cases it’s worth to perfrorm these catches in groups. As a cop, you also have the chance to complete LAW ENFORCEMENT QUESTS, look for the ‘question mark(?)’ blip on the map.
Now that the basics are clear, lets look into some details about other opportunities!

Race:
The system starts a random race every 30 minutes. A maximum of 25 people can apply to a race and the sign-up money will be divided through the first couple of ranks with a rate of given percentages. But don’t forget that every rank yields XP. It’s important to note that you can apply to the race after it’s been announced, using the ‘/joinrace’ command while sitting in your vehicle. After application, you have to get to the start (marked by a flag blip on the map) and park in the racing grid, which is a red rectangle. It’s important to stand here until the timer expires. When it’s expired, here comes the START! 5 red lights will flash and the race begins when the 5 lamps go blank, so reflexes are very important: the system does not prevent you from starting earlier and it will get you disqualified (jump start). The details of the race are visible in the top-right corner and we have to complete the track by touching the GREEN CHECKPOINTs.
If the race is finished, (everybody reached the finish line, or RACE TIME has expired) then a new race will start soon.

Achievements:
The system is always watching and rewards us when we achieve something or we are exceptionally good at a thing. Every Achievement we complete yields XP. We can check and manage them on the Dashboard’s Achievements tab.

Clan:
If you have $100.000 in the game, it’s worth to create a CLAN on the Dashboard’s CLAN tab. This section is managed by the Clan Leaders, which means they can pick up or fire members and so on.. It’s important to know that CLANs will have an important role on the server, because on the one hand there is the option to CLAN WAR and on the other hand, after some weeks-months from the server’s start, there will be special CLAN fights held, with a prize of real-life valuables such as real money, meaning that the best CLANs can compete for real rewards every month.

Clan War:
The Clan War is all about capturing checkpoints. Every territory has its own kind of bonus. (You can view these territories on the F11 map.) If the territory is not owned by anybody, we can buy it for an amount of money($X), but if somebody owns it, then we can attack it. If a fight starts for a territory, the system notificates all Clan members so you’ll have time to arm yourselves during the 15 minutes preparation period. Territories may give you the following bonuses: $5000 in-game money/24 hours played, +1 XP multiplier, 20% discount from everything bought from shops, 20% discount from the price of every weapon or ammo and 20% discount from the price of any vehicle.
(If a Clan has multiple territories, the bonuses add up, so a member of a strong CLAN could have a 80% discount from a vehicle’s prize and could have a 4x XP multiplier.)
The system creates 2 teams, one Clan being the blue team and the other being the red team. 1 war consists of 3 rounds and every round is 10 minutes long. The objective is to capture all checkpoints and hold onto them, and you’ll get 1 point every 5 seconds per checkpoint owned. We can monitor teamscore on a scoreboard located at the top of the screen. The checpoints yield points for the team which controls it, meaning that if one gets captured from the Red team, the Blue team will get those points from there on. A point is captured by standing into it, then after a couple of seconds the system will notificate you about the point being captured. Also, every kill yields +1 point for your team, so the round is won by the team which possesses more points than the other.

Friends:
We have the possibility to add friends. You can manage your friends on the FRIENDS section of the Dashboard. If you want to add a player, you just have to type his name in, and he’ll get your friend invitation after you sent it. If he accepts it, you will be able to see when he logs in or out and when is he online. Aside from that, you will also be able to invite him to a Party, so you’ll see all information needed about each other.
Party:
You can invite your online friends to a party, meaning that you’ll be able to see a party section in the top-right corner under the HUD, where you can see your friends’ avatar, HP, armor and whether if they’re in combat or not. Aside from this, you can also see your party’s members on the map, so orientation is way easier. A party can only have a maximum of 6 members at a time. Your party will also have a private chat that only party members can see: to access it, just use the ‘Y’ key as you’d use the ‘T’ to type.
Animals:
You can buy an in-game PET from another player, or in the Diamond shop. There are several kinds of pets, of which you’ll have to take care and in return it defends you. You can manage your pets on the Dashboard’s ANIMALS section, meaning that you can spawn it, sell it, or if it’s dead, then revive it. Once you spawned your PET, you can make it follow you, stay, feed it, and so on by clicking on it with the left mouse button (LMB).
Settings:
Whether if you want to change the appearance of the game, your avatar, or looking for other settings, this is the section of the Dashboard you’re looking for. We tried to create a perfect interface, customize your profile as much as you’d like!
Tuning:
The basic scheme is known from GTA V, but we’ve taken it one step further. You can find Tuning workshops on the map marked by the wrench blip, get inside with your vehicle and discover the interface! You have the chance of performance tuning on 4 levels, optical tuning, custom paintjobs and several other extras such as bulletproof windows, ARMOR that protects your vehicle from crashes and bullets and many other custom options. Try it out!
Hunting:
There are wild animals (bear, deer, boar) at some places that you can hunt down. If you shot the game, you can skin it and Hunter Jack (found near the top of Mt. Chilliad) gives money for the skin and the trophy of the animal. Killing beasts also yields XP.
Teleport:
The blue blips on the map are all teleport gates. If we stand inside them and open the teleport panel, then we can fast travel to other gates for an amount of money. You can only teleport every 30 minutes using money, however teleporting is unlimited if paid with Diamonds.
Diamond shop:
Click on the Diamond shop found in the top-right corner! If you buy diamonds, you support the developers and can buy extraordinary things: Different boosts, weapons, vehicles, money and PETs. Take a look, and buy what you’d like! You can buy Diamonds on our WEBSITE’s Diamond shop section with an automated system that uses PayPal. You can also purchase Diamonds with SMS text message, but it’s ONLY available in HUNGARY. If you are not using a hungarian provider, then choose the PayPal method.
Shooting Range:
We can boost our weapon skills at the shooting range. Some weapons will be dual-wield when their skill levels reach 1000, these are: the UZI, the TEC-9, the Pistol and the Sawn-Off Shotgun. Other weapon skills’ rise results in much more accurate aiming and more efficency at long range.
Inventory:
Press the ‘I’ key and manage your things as you want! Use right mouse button(RMB) to use an item, or drag it around by using left mouse button(LMB). If you want to get rid of an item, find a grey trashcan and drag-and-drop the item onto it.
This will be enough for the time being… If we aroused your interest, you think a great community is emerging and you want to join one of the most advanced servers of MTA, then don’t hesitate! Get to our website found at www.sas-network.org and like our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/sasgame) where we announce the latest news about the server!
