it's the youtubers like dom who usually make the false claims or they just take leaked info from people like nillx and create hype for new things.

"Mostly right". Yes. He's absolutely right about the fact heists are coming out. We've known that forever and a half. We didn't need #MASSIVECODELEAKZFROMTHEMODGODZ to tell us that. That they're coming out before Christmas... Well, I need a more reliable source. If he's right, score one for the hypemongerers. If he's not, the LOLz that will be had at this thread's expense... And we no longer need YouTubers anymore, people here create hype on their own. Then they run with it.

Business & High Life Updates - leaked months in advance through game files

Flight School Update - leaked through game files again. One vehicle didn't make it, but that does not invalidate the rest of the leak which was spot on.

Beach Bum, Business/High Life/Flight School. Good job on the people that found that DLC beforehand. Dem hackz doe. The thing is, we don't need anyone to leak heists. We're well aware that heists will be released eventually. This isn't news. It's the supposed date and the salivating fanboys that are being whipped into a frenzy that I take issue with. If heists debut when he claims, then that's awesome. If not, there are gonna be a lot of people in this thread with blue balls who will take to the main page with "f*ck Cock*" and "I'm trading in my copy of GTAV" threads.

 

All I'm saying is this: Nothing is official until R* announces it. And even then, it's questionable. R*. The developer of said heists. Not NillxModz and his Super Secret GTA Research Team, not the YouTube whores, not a thread full of wishful-thinkers. It's R*'S game. I'll take their word for it. With a grain of salt... HEISTS SPRING 2013!!!

 

EDIT: Seriously. If R* is capable of spreading erroneous information and being off on their own release date by nearly two f*cking years, what in God's name makes you think some Mod Leaker guy is wholly infallible??

Whilst I agree with you. This wouldn't happen if R* actually informed their customers of what was happening.

 

By what I've read and gathered from posts on here is that the main grievance in the community has with R* is not with the lack of DLC as much as it is with the lack of information.

 

So until R* break their code of silence stuff like this will keep happening.

 

EDIT: Above all, the reason people ARE entitled to heists no matter what anyone else says is that R* said they would be released before the end of 2013 and now we're almost in 2015. I think after heists, R* has done their job and it would be wrong for anyone to expect free DLC...even though that's what R* promised to give.

The thing with him is nothing he have said has come true. Thats a pretty damn good reason not to trust him yet.

 

Funmw2, Chromexmodz etc all proved themself to be legit. Claiming that their finds are reasons to beleve anyone who says they has information makes no sense at all. And the fact that Funmw2 cant find the stuff Nillxmodz has, makes me even more suspicious of him. Obviously he knows how to read codes but if he has a secret key into Rockstars voult has yet to be proven.

Disagree. All this speculation and leak stuff was going on before the game came out, we had a release date, we knew when we were going to get it and there was still loads of speculations and claims going on.

 

You have to understand these people get off on having the cult following that is being nurtured here.

 

Besides, R* have told us whats going on, a month ago they said the next DLC would have heists. They did not give us a release date - probably because they weren't 100% sure as to when the work would be completed. If they had given a date at that time and then not managed to be ready all the whiners on here would just be posting "lol C* are idiots lol". They can't win in this situation.

Besides they probably want to keep some stuff secret so its a surprise when it comes out. Is that a bad thing ? If the hackers leak everything it takes the surprise away and kinda ruins the official announcements.

 

So, the leakers will do their thing anyway, because thats what they want to do, regardless of us, regardless of R*.

 

I think the whole situation is a bit sad, can anyone explain what the problem is waiting for R* to announce stuff ?
