Any gradient snow yet?

Exactly, this were something I was looking forward to to really see if what he said was true. Guess not

Miss Malevolent

For f*ck sake they arent northern lights, northern lights are mostly green, never fully red

Yeah...when I saw it moving in waves it reminded me of the aurora borealis...and I said it out loud, then immediately corrected myself as they weren't green. But nice effect nonetheless.

If another video is necessary:

9:40

Also, notice how it fades when he turns right.

Ok so it was small red sky effect last year too. Cool didn't notice that. Not sure many did since it's so vague.

It's more noticeable with the enhanced environmental effects in new gen. It's actually not far off that when it's not snowing, in the right place at the right angle in the right weather etc.. The lighting in the game varies so much more now.

I'll take the info into consideration, but I won't dismiss it either. As untrue the leaks may often be, they do tend to be massive misinterpretations of actual code.

The problem is that it's not even code. It's data attribute names. Of course it makes sense to call the attributes something meaningful, unlike when I started coding and you could only assign single characters to variable names, but it doesn't actually mean that you can know what they mean.

That's why people ended up hyped up by a load of bollocks by this guy in the first place.

That was Sir Clive Sinclair's version of BASIC on the ZX80. Happy days :D

Edit: It turns out you could have more than 1 character for integer variable names. Strings, however, were all one character, followed by $. That's probably where my mistake comes from. That and it being 34 years ago :p

We are excited to announce that we have found and compiled after days of analysis over the Christmas period, a set of new content that has been recently developed via Rockstar North for Grand Theft Auto Online. As you are probably aware, this is set to bring a host of new room interiors, clothing, weapons, vehicles and the biggest DLC to be released yet.

It was set on the servers that the Heist DLC would be released on December 23rd 2014 but unfortunately Rockstar changed it to 1999 shortly after being informed about our leaks and suddenly an IGN/Newswire post stated it was to be released in 2015 - this was probably to cover up their mistakes on their internal system.

There have been a bunch of new natives, codes and texture files uploaded to a server known as Telemetry-494398, we won't say too much on that as that's the NillxModz secret but this server contains a lot of source code that we investigate which is uploaded on a regular basis by the 'DEVSTARS' (Developers) to BETA test content - that was to clarify for those skeptical of our information.

We understand that it's hard to believe us, given the delayed release date, but know that game developers always delay, change and adapt at last minute and legitimate leakers such as us, are extremely flamed and hated because of this. Those who do not feel they can cope/trust with our information, simply do not need to read it!

NOTICE: As people are skeptical, we will provide source code this time round, but we usually do not to prevent multiple abuses.

The following natives were founded recently through the nesscary DLC source files, we've included an explanation for each of them in case you can't gather the context of the native alone:

IS_HEIST_BANK_RENDERED - This native calls for the game to render the interior/files required for a Heist mission in the bank located near Rockford Hills.

IS_CLIENT_SIDED_CONTEXT - This native checks that the client either has synchronized the game with others (for example if a car is destoyed) or if the action is for the client to see only and others are blind to the situation, this could be for a function known as Blind Eye.

LOCATE_NEAREST_REDNER_POINT - This native calls for the nearest 'Render Point' which is used for AI spawning etc during a Heist mission.

IS_JEFF_CONTACT_ENABLED - The contact we leaked before called 'JEFF' who will offer special abilities during Heist missions will be enabled on your phone contact list when this native is called.

IS_NIGHTVISION_ENABLED - This native calls for the Night Vision mode to activate, this means it will be used during certain parts of Heist missions.

IS_APARTMENT_HEIST_ACTIVE - This native activates the Heist-planning board depending on the progress of the Heist you had planned.

The following code was found for the Heist Planning Room in your GTA Online Apartment and other features:

.rdata:401928AA 0000004 HST BOARD_HEIST_PLANNING - This is the function to use the planning board to start planning a Crew Heist mission.

.rdata:794837R4 00000002 HST TURN_PRINTER_ON_OFF - This is the function to use the printer to print a planning sheet which is stored in your file cabinet.

.rdata:102947C4 0000001 HST PRINTER_HEIST_PLAN_SC_CREW - This is the function to send the planning sheet via email on your phone to the rest of your selected Social Club Crew.

.rdata:284756DX 0000002 HST SHOW_BOARD_OUTLINE - Some rendering functions to render the sketch outline of the board textures.

.rdata:193846F4 00000007 HST HIDE_BOARD_TEXTURE - This is the function to hide the planning board during currently unknown situations, most likely to be set via variables in Tunables.

.rdata:685747X4 0000008 HST ALLOW_EMAIL_IFRUIT_APP - This is the function of a new feature coming to the iFruit app on smartphones etc.You can send Heist-related emails virtually through the app.

.rdata:395829W4 0000003 HST SET_FLOOR_RUMBLE_SMASH_FX - This is the function of a new feature to feel the floor rumble as something in a Heist mission explodes, also to see a smash hole in the ground.

.rdata:684928S4 0000003 HST SET_WATER_FLOOD_BUILDING - This is the function of a new feature to see water of some sort to pour from a building after bursting a water central pipe or something similar. This also means a building to flood with water.

Surprised to see this thread is still alive.

I'll just say, as a friendly reminder, that his statement on Rockstar extending snow after Christmas was bullcrap. Thought about pointing that out before, but I couldn't be bothered to find this thread.

1) I very much doubt that R* put any source code on a public server - compiled programs, sure but not source code.

2) I very much doubt that heists were delayed because of his "leak" - for a start he was wrong about the majority of stuff, second in the IGN article the guy actually writing the damm game said they aren't done yet. I'm gonna trust him more than some kid on twitter.

Or, if we look at it another way - we can blame him for us not having heists yet if he really did cause a delay as he claims. Such a good guy, right ?

3) All that stuff listed tells us nothing over the heists trailer that R* released weeks ago.

I do not see any reason for this thread to be open any longer, if people want to read his bullsh*t they can go to his site.

First off, Leaker Dude needs to stop crying about people calling them out on BS claims they got wrong. If you are going to be a "Leaker" you better be prepared for the backlash you get

when your leaks dont come to fruition. Im no hater or flamer. I asked, when Nilxmodz first surfaced, why is he so trusted. He had never shown anything before but now people were

hanging to his every word like it was truth. The ONLY thing that made me somewhat open to his leaks was the trusted Funmw2 endorsement. Now that time has gone by we see

Nilxmodz got so much wrong and only things he got right were stuff we all knew was going to happen in the first place. The red sky was there last year kids. He got pretty much everything else wrong.

We have to wait for the Heist DLC to come out to see if this "JEFF" contact is even right. Even if that bit comes true, doesnt make this guy a legitimate leaker. Throw enough stuff at the wall, somethings going to eventually stick.

@crafty:

2) Exactly! I Like how these leakers keep claiming credit for heists being delayed because of their leaks. This isnt the first time a "Leaker" has claimed this.

3) Exactly again. We learned all of this with the heists trailer.

4) Here is where I disagree. Even though his leaks have been horribly wrong, that is no reason to close the thread. First, its still fun to read speculation. Second, if you dont want to read it, you dont have to open the thread. Simply skipped over it. Hundreds of other threads to read.

i cannot find that list of things he told us to happen anywhere.

does anybody have a link to that list of predicted content?

He speculated about a "Ball-Ball Launcher". That is nothing to do with throwing snowballs.

No the closest thing he said to throwing snowballs was a weapon called the ball ball launcher, other than that no. He didn't say that, we first heard from R* themselves.

As for the list, check this thread around page 32 (ish) AFAIK.

Edit: you got two answers at exactly the same time, enjoy!

but i still cannot find his original list of predicted content which this discussion is all about.

would be good to be able to check the single predictions if they have come true.

These are the original lists that came before the 23rd.

Some of it he was correct around 98% wrong.

He's still a blatant bullsh*tter to me and a lot of others on here!

Enjoy

We have compiled a feature list for the 'Heist DLC' due on December 23rd 2014. These features, items and functions have been analysed and confirmed via Developer-versions of the relevant content and the code associated with it. Here is a list of our compiled notes:

Heist (Planning Board) layout update for both High-End apartment interiors. This will be available across all platforms.

Brand new 'Heist' selection menu featuring it's own Social Club-based leaderboard and misc options showing the list of un-completed Heist missions). This will be available across all platforms.

34 Texture Modifications to 4 different locations, this is in favour of added effect during Heist missions. This will be available across all platforms but the texture detail is improved on current-generation.

6 Heist missions in 4 unique locations.

5 Cops and Crooks missions in 4 unique locations.

Improved anti-cheat methods. Some code for this is included in the DLC, but is not associated with the Heist feature itself.

Three brand new vehicles. The names of these vehicles are still identified by their Dev tag and are not yet finalized but the approximate vehicle class is; Sports Classic and Sports.

Brand new Apartment - CCTV function with two AI-characters in your apartment running them. This feature is available for current-generation only.

Three Heist-themed clothing items - these items are still identified by their Dev tag but are the following types; Special Outfit (available from the counter).

Two Cops and Crooks-themed masks. These mask items are available in current-generation only.

BZ Gas will now be purchasable from Ammu-Nation but can only be used in Heist missions - you are responsible for stocking-up on these and if you run out, your team mates will need to complete that objective for you.

5 new hairstyles - these are still identified by their Dev tag.

2 new contact lenses - these are still identified by their Dev tag.

Additional matchmaking for Heist missions between Crews - this is a feature implemented in 1.17 but will be activated in 1.19/1.05.

A new phone contact named 'Jeff' will be available, offering a chance to resurrect a killed-off Crew member during your Heist operation. The voice of this contact or any other options associated are still unknown at this point.

Last-generation players will have the option to 'Email' other Crew members about your planned Heist mission, whoever emails you a Heist plan will be the leader of the operation.

Current-generation players will have the option to 'Email' other Crew members about your planned Heist mission and have the ability to print those out in your Apartment and store in your documents, whoever emails you a Heist plan will be the leader of the operation.

All players will have the ability to use their Heist planning board in order to select a location, chosen online-Crew members and their role and the length of time before the Heist request expires from their 'Email' app on their phone.

4 new audio files, relating to the Heist missions. These are identified as an alarm bell, the sound of a vault opening, sirens and a background track.

WARNING: All future DLC and content-leaks will require a membership to NillxForums. It is free of charge to become a member at our official community and will support the future of our research.

This DLC will be released on December 23rd 2014 for all platforms.

What do you think of these new functions, features and items? Let us know!

With our last investigation into the Holiday DLC developer content, we found a few interesting features landing on December 23rd 2014 with the 1.05 update. We are pleased to say that we've managed to explore areas which weren't available a few days ago, leading to more features coming with the Holiday DLC.

I have also explained the other features in detail which we released a few days ago:

Gradient Controlled Snow - This means that at 05:00AM UTC on December 25th 2014 the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County will be filled with beautiful, powdery snow. At 12:30PM UTC which is a few hours after the snow starts, you will begin to notice ice on the roads, this is when the gradient part kicks in. By 18:00PM UTC, you will notice the road will be slushy and your vehicle will start sliding everywhere. By 00:00AM UTC on 26th December, the snow will be at the side of the street and the main roads will be clear again. This is a new approach to a more realistic way of a snowy Christmas.

Last-generation Snow - This means that players will see a white layer of snow on the roads, buildings and other items that are outside. This will expire on 26th December at 05:30AM UTC.

Red Sky Effect - This means that current-generation players will see a bright orangey red glow in the sky while snow is falling, this is something we see in real life while snow is falling due to reflection and other scientific factors (good how Rockstar thought of that) this will be during the in-game night time, during the day the clouds will be dark grey.

Christmas Apartment - There will be a new in-game High-end apartment which will be permanent but from December 25th till January 7th there will be limited-time props in the apartment; Christmas-pine tree with lights and a few present-like textures beneath the tree, a fireplace with stockings pinned to the front (we believe that Rockstar designed this last minute) and various Holiday-themed decorations scattered around the interior. There is no confirmed price for this apartment at this time.

Exclusive CnC Mission - At first we portrayed this as a generic bonus mission, but after deeper analysis we found code and texture models relating to a Christmas-themed Cops and Crooks mission - this doesn't mean there is only one mission, it means this is a special bonus for Christmas. We believe, from generic code, this is located around the Rockford Hills area.

Christmas Clothing - This will be all of the items we saw last year on last generation but this time there is 4 new items, these are still in non-identifiable format though.

Christmas Lights - From source code, we've found bits and pieces of reference to street Christmas lights, we haven;t been able to find or view textures for these lights, so they may be withdrawn at last minute but the following natives were found:

XMAS_STRT_CENTRAL

XMAS_STRT_DOWNTWN

XMAS_STRT_COUNTY

XMAS_STRT_APT

(These are natives used to identify street lights, be warned that this isn't a confirmed feature, but a highly possible one as it;s been coded into the relevant files)

Christmas Vehicle Modifications - We've found audio relating to two Christmas-themed horns; 'Tis The Season and Deck the Halls. Each horn lasts 7.4 seconds, so this will be a costly horn. You will be able to keep this horn forever once applied. We also found a 'Happy Holidays' cover for the roof of your vehicle.

Weapon - One new weapon we believe to be linked with the Firework Launcher, the name is currently under a hashed Dev tag but we believe, from textures, that this is a Ball-Ball-related shooter - we attempted to analyse as much about this as possible but a lot was missing and still un-prepared.

Bonus Items - You will receive bonus items for visiting GTO on Christmas Day, we do not have information about the content.
