Not even the biggest fan boy who likes it in the bottom would defend anyone like he has unless he's defending himself of course. Which we now know he is.

Oh dear. I have no problem in admitting he was wrong but I can't do that now because I'm not 100% sure he was. So yeah do the math - I'm a realist and not Nillxmodz. Why would I be him? lol

Lol - you think you need to use a website to encrypt the files before incorrectly guessing what they mean. I actually think that qualifies you as a perfect candidate for nillxmodz, or at least his successor when he comes down from his mighty throne of bullsh*t.

That is just a regular cloudy day in LS. Was that snap even taken after the snow? Those hills don't seem to have it.

 

 

People are still talking about this guy? He's pretty much irrelevant now.

In his words:

• Red Sky Effect - This means that current-generation players will see a bright orangey red glow in the sky while snow is falling, this is something we see in real life while snow is falling due to reflection and other scientific factors (good how Rockstar thought of that) this will be during the in-game night time, during the day the clouds will be dark grey."

That snap doesn't seem to be like that, it's just the normal sunlight, close to the evening. Plus, he says the effect only occurs for "current-generation players", and that snap is from last gen.

 

And my bad about the pic, those hills didn't seem covered in snow.

According to a friend of mine who played last time there was snow (I wasn't in Online until late Feb/early March) wasn't as detailed as it is this year. Said that the snow kicking up under the tires and the snow on the hoods and a couple other details are all new this year.

Yeah it wasn't detailed last time but the snow kicked up when tires span off last time too.

There were snow splatters too last year actually. I was exploring it the whole day last year. Not really sure if this year's is really improved in my eyes since I can't play it yet. Fml

Yea it does look a lot better. Snow on the trees and such. I played last year and it was basically just a white texture. I wouldn't say really dynamic to where it turns slushy but this is the first night of snow. Or day whatever. Looks a lot better to my eyes anyways. I am on Xbox One though.

Just to confirm that the previous pic isn't anything new, here is a pic I took back in 2013 around my first month in Online or so, displaying that same sunlight effect :



And as an extra, another not-so-old one (Probably around flight school time, if I recall correctly) with an actual orange sky:



If something, Nillix's description is incredibly ambiguous. A "bright orangey red glow in the sky" might as well be called "sunset" or "sunrise" for all he said.

] I found what it was...at night in sandy shores you can see something similar to the aurora borealis but red

The red sky affect is real, but it is only noticeable at night. While snowing the sky is a bright reddish orange in the city due to all the lights reflecting off the snow and distant sounds are muffled as well. If you go to the country, where there are fewer light sources, the sky is dark.

Well, he got the red sky right, I have to hand that to him. But then again, judging by how just about everything else was wrong, I still don't think that confirms his legitimacy.

 

Anyone here remembers if the red sky was already present last year?
