I think you guys are over hyping the new vehicles. They will probably be crap just like the vehicles from the LTS Update. As for the above post I would it to have one of those classic sports but I just cant see R* bringing any nice cars like that for a while

As he is only releasing to his forum, any chance anyone here is signed up and ready to post it here?

Fair enough if he wants it exclusive over there, just means I'll only know when it drops.

Heists was selling point for GTAO when it went live back in 2013. R* overpromised and still hasn't been able to deliver. R* is well aware that the heists that they promised are long overdue. R* is also well aware that the complete and total lack of and any real, truthful information concerning heists (not to mention the heists themselves) has been a major sticking point within their community/fanbase for well over a year. It's reasonable to think that when heists are actually 100% ready (or ready enough for release, GTAO as a whole still isn't 100% ready), R* will announce it. With fireworks and streamers and a billboard in Times Square.

Someone posted a supposed list of what R* claimed was gonna be in the 12/23 Christmas Update. I can't find it on the Newswire, so it's not "official" AFAIC. But, if that post is to be believed, why wouldn't R* mention it? Even if they did, why would R* hide something this big deep within a dinky Christmas update? Given the fervor that this feature has generated, why wouldn't get it's own release with all the associated fanfare? We've had plenty of DLC with new game modes that got "proper" releases. Why use Christmas fluff as a selling point when the hotly-anticipated heists are ready? A "stealth-release" makes no sense at all given what has fast become the most controversial feature in all of GTAO. Unlike the elite leakerz, I'm not 100% sure of anything, but if heists did appear on 12/23 with no fanfare, it'd be disconcertingly anticlimactic.

In the past, R* has usually dropped their DLC hype-info a week before the actual DLC. That means that the Newswire should have info up detailing Christmas DLC (if there actually is DLC) early next week. It'll be semi-concrete information. Whether heists are listed or not, we'll know for sure then...

Announcing something you failed to deliver numerous times with fireworks and Times Square billboard could be counter productive. It might get interpreted in a negative way by your fanbase, which you really don't want. They are on very thin ice at the moment, between increasing their fanbase, and getting back who they lost, or losing the majority of them. R* has to be very careful with their actions and announcements at this point.

Christmas DLC info update:

  • Gradient Controlled Snow - This means that at 05:00AM UTC on December 25th 2014 the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County will be filled with beautiful, powdery snow. At 12:30PM UTC which is a few hours after the snow starts, you will begin to notice ice on the roads, this is when the gradient part kicks in. By 18:00PM UTC, you will notice the road will be slushy and your vehicle will start sliding everywhere. By 00:00AM UTC on 26th December, the snow will be at the side of the street and the main roads will be clear again. This is a new approach to a more realistic way of a snowy Christmas.
  • Last-generation Snow - This means that players will see a white layer of snow on the roads, buildings and other items that are outside. This will expire on 26th December at 05:30AM UTC.
  • Red Sky Effect - This means that current-generation players will see a bright orangey red glow in the sky while snow is falling, this is something we see in real life while snow is falling due to reflection and other scientific factors (good how Rockstar thought of that) this will be during the in-game night time, during the day the clouds will be dark grey.
  • Christmas Apartment - There will be a new in-game High-end apartment which will be permanent but from December 25th till January 7th there will be limited-time props in the apartment; Christmas-pine tree with lights and a few present-like textures beneath the tree, a fireplace with stockings pinned to the front (we believe that Rockstar designed this last minute) and various Holiday-themed decorations scattered around the interior. There is no confirmed price for this apartment at this time.
  • Exclusive CnC Mission - At first we portrayed this as a generic bonus mission, but after deeper analysis we found code and texture models relating to a Christmas-themed Cops and Crooks mission - this doesn't mean there is only one mission, it means this is a special bonus for Christmas. We believe, from generic code, this is located around the Rockford Hills area.
  • Christmas Clothing - This will be all of the items we saw last year on last generation but this time there is 4 new items, these are still in non-identifiable format though.
  • Christmas Lights - From source code, we've found bits and pieces of reference to street Christmas lights, we haven;t been able to find or view textures for these lights, so they may be withdrawn at last minute but the following natives were found:

XMAS_STRT_CENTRAL
XMAS_STRT_DOWNTWN
XMAS_STRT_COUNTY
XMAS_STRT_APT

(These are natives used to identify street lights, be warned that this isn't a confirmed feature, but a highly possible one as it;s been coded into the relevant files)

  • Christmas Vehicle Modifications - We've found audio relating to two Christmas-themed horns; 'Tis The Season and Deck the Halls. Each horn lasts 7.4 seconds, so this will be a costly horn. You will be able to keep this horn forever once applied. We also found a 'Happy Holidays' cover for the roof of your vehicle.
  • Weapon - One new weapon we believe to be linked with the Firework Launcher, the name is currently under a hashed Dev tag but we believe, from textures, that this is a Ball-Ball-related shooter - we attempted to analyse as much about this as possible but a lot was missing and still un-prepared.
  • Bonus Items - You will receive bonus items for visiting GTO on Christmas Day, we do not have information about the content.

With our last investigation into the Holiday DLC developer content, we found a few interesting features landing on December 23rd 2014 with the 1.05 update. We are pleased to say that we've managed to explore areas which weren't available a few days ago, leading to more features coming with the Holiday DLC.

I have also explained the other features in detail which we released a few days ago:

  • Gradient Controlled Snow - This means that at 05:00AM UTC on December 25th 2014 the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County will be filled with beautiful, powdery snow. At 12:30PM UTC which is a few hours after the snow starts, you will begin to notice ice on the roads, this is when the gradient part kicks in. No , It's proof that he is legit , more than legit .

Modders who is checking game files will find natives but they will be hashed .

It's not possible to get the names unless you are using a tool that try random names but that will cause you to find natives collisions ( two hashes with the same name ) .

Nillx got them .

I don't even know if R* added them to PS4/X1 executable , If he got them with their names even if they aren't added then he is a R* developer xD .
