We're not getting heists until 2015 and we're already on 1.20, so anyone who's saying "1.19" is FOS

Basically using the stuff we got last year, add in some CnC from the tunable, and the heist due it being the first title update, not a patch.

as a company R* have to be keep the product flowing, is up to Sony/MS to get their sh*t together and keep the servers up and running.

I'll be surprised if he actually delivers proof that he has more knowledge than our Funmw2. He is the person I trust.

I've got no interest to be bothered about heists at all until the release. Why? Because I'm not sure R* can deliver heists at all, it is now clear to me that at the moment of first heist announce nothing was ready on their side, not a single moment of game mechanics concerning heist details was revealed. After that impressive demonstration of BS that we've witnessed before Flight school launch I decided to jump off the hype train permanently and advising everyone to do the same: you're going to be disappointed.

 

 

And, as a day one player and a person who was on the forums since october '13 I can remember clearly how often heists info we all read here and how stable the game is. I'm sure a lot of us can recall that thing about "spring". Even if R* will deliver, with their coding quality it's going to be a nightmare.

 

 

At the moment, I'm absolutely ready to trade in heists for the ability to run my own server like in IV without police, with friendly fire off, ability to adjust traffic density and day-night cycles. More advanced content creator with unlocked interiors, ability to store cop cars and mod vans. Unlimited garage space? Why the hell not, especially on XBOX ONE/ PS4. Forza can afford it, why on Earth GTA can't? That is game changing and that's restricted now only by the will of R*. I'm not even asking about better A.I. or better traffic behaviour, that's impossible to ask from R*, that's too much.

True, I guess just about anyone can predict Heists will come with Christmas content this December, but he makes some very specific statements, such as Christmas-only apartment interiors and exactly one Cops 'N Crooks mission. I will let those be the judge on whether he's full of crap or not.

Cmon guys who doubt this dude (Chromexmodz 2.0), do you really believe he would risk his own reputation on false rumours? If this turns out to be false, his entire "business" will go down - he won't risk sucha thing.Noone will ever believe him agian. People believe him because we haven't had any info from Rockstar in over 70 days. I personally believe him, as the things he has said make sense and seem plausible. We have no other info coming from anywhere else, people are desperate for information and I can see why.

Im on the fence. But the only use for this forum is meet lobbies and info like this. What i do know is that R* themselves said it would come in the next update. Even though R* talk sh*te.

It's nice to meet like-minded person on the matter of custom lobbies. On the matter of heists I would like to politely disagree with you: it was promised without any solid ground backing this, R* just hyped us (as some fellow contributors like to put it) and I believe that the heists are not going to bring some absolutely new non-repetitive gameplay changes. There is one more point why I'm so neutral about it, which is a bit selfish: since heists were described and imagined by the majority of players as the new and massive source of income, it's not interesting for me anymore, because I own everything already. It's only a gameplay factor then, and after replaying single campaign it's hard for me to believe, that MP heists will be on the same level. I will be happy to be wrong.

 

However, for new players heists may be very interesting thing to accumulate cash and experience in more various way. And yes, I don't believe that heists payout will be generous. R* was trolling us back in SP, just remember that the only heist we did in SP was for our profit: Union depositary. Jewellery shop, Merryweather boat, Train, Bank, FIB were forced on us. So, argument that R* is withholding heists just because they're not ready to let us accumulate some cash is invalid. They will be ready to laugh at us, it's more like there was no heists in development for Online since maybe mid-2014. But that's just my opinion.

WELL i guess you haven't been following them enough ... They took down R*'s server a week and a half ago . They even Tweeted # GTA OFFLINE !!! ... so YES they HAVE Targeted R* servers!
