Good! Serves them right. Their communication with us over the last year has been terrible. Give us our heists and move on. This isn't a present to us. It's something we paid for a year ago.

Be honest, you're just desperate to justify your belief that NillixModz is right and have nothing else other than a fallacious argument from authority ("funmw2 trusts him, so it must be true!"). Remember when funmw2 also told us about the guy who "confirmed" an army update coming in October, even though with a pinch of salt? Yeah...

The two rifles, I give you that, but I'm sure you have seen the Vintage Pistol (second best pistol IMO, first is Heavy) and the Antique Cavalry Dagger (literally just a reskinned knife).

 

The Cavalry Dagger is good for some period cosplay. I sometimes dress up as an aristocrat from the 19th century (top hat, tuxedo and that hipster beard with the twirly mustache) and challenge random people to a gentlemen's skirmish with the dagger. Classy as f*ck!

I'd clean you out with my Pfister-branded nine-iron or the replica winning bat of my run in Harvard before your ancient dagger even touches my suit coat.

But honestly if it doesn't come, there's still going to be a holiday DLC. Heists on Christmas would be the perfect time.

 

People getting consoles and kids getting money (or the game)

 

Their marketing is strong on this one.

I don't think their date 'prediction' is anything special. Pretty much all of us would've guessed Dec 23rd (aka. Tue. of Christmas week). As far as 'content' goes, snow + holiday clothing/decor is also a given. One doesn't need 'sources' or 'coding skills' to guess any of that. I'll be impressed when/if they leak specific 'heist dlc' info.

 

That said, they don't strike me as liars. Their tunables leak looked legit and they seem to be organized and on point with releasing info. There is a little bit of posturing going on, but can you blame them, it is obvious they want to direct more hits to their site as reward for their 'work'.

It's not about saying anything at this point right now.

 

If it were the middle of July, then yeah they'd have to say something.

 

This is CHRISTMAS. The biggest holiday of the year. Console prices went down, bundles are everywhere, GTA just released for the next gen consoles. There's no need for Rockstar to say anything right now. The release it on the 23rd, and by the 25th-26th, their player rate just skyrocketed to an insane level.

I do disagree with the moderators putting the lid on speculation threads.

 

They write that you can only speculate on something that comes from a 'source', but as the more skeptical people have written, there are no genuine sources.

 

Other than R*, who have been notorious on this product for failing to provide consistent or clear information on anything.

 

Speculation is merely discussion.

Well a lot of people didn't really have any solid arguments either. Just some silly guess-work. And too much of it was just back and forth between pessimists and optimists. No consensus to be had.

 

There was also an abundance of people going off-topic. I was actively involved, but the only info there that I found useful were the leaked pieces of code.
