So About Those "30 Player" Jobs...

Has ANYONE had a chance to experience them in full? It seems like a rarity to enter a lobby full of people before the start of a job or event.

IIRC, I did a 30-player race a few nights ago.

Servers have a hard enough time keeping 8 people in a job lobby, most I've seen so far was 17.

I think they're pretty much only for active crews/crew-vs-crew stuff. As others have said, there is already issues with matchmaking that pretty much make 4+ people in a mission a rarity...

I was in 30 players deathmatch yesterday hosted by some guy from twitch. It happend on the small blocked by fences territory with miniguns and RPGs everywhere. It was horrible.

I used to regularly play in sessions ranging from 8-16 players, but found it difficult to get in a full 8 player job, never mind more. Now I'm playing in sessions with 25+ players, but really would never expect to get into 30 player jobs.

 

30 player sky diving sounds awesome though!

You should have played 60 player Resistance 2. That was intense!

I was in a 30 person race with 29 other players just the other day. All was going great, race started, we made it to the first turn...........aaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnndddddd kicked back to single player. I swear, I wasn't having these problems (Xbox 1) until the 2nd or 3rd update. Now every time I try and join a public lobby, or job/race, I either get in with maybe 2 or 3 other players and it's stable, or I get into a full lobby and get booted back to single player. What a pain.

Side note in thousands of matches I was literally never on blue team once...look it up.

30 player lobbies are a joke. They're non-existent if you're a Joe Schmoe with no fanbase. It's rare. I invited people to these 30 player Rockstar-created jobs and a max of 7 joined (most leaving because they're impatient). I have never played with more than 26 others in Free Roam, and more than 16 (last gen) in jobs. I bet the only time I'll ever experience them is when there are event weekends.
