The worst part (for people who actually still play GTA V online) is that R* has backed themselves into a corner by saying that heists will be out with the next update.

 

At least before, when R* was saying "Heists will be released soon", they were still able to release other content (even if no one was asking for it)...... but now they can't release anything, they can't have an update until the heists are ready... and we all know it will be a long time before heists are ready.

 

Oh and obviously, I mean actual content in thier updates. Sorry for anyone who didn't get that... I thought it was pretty obvious since R* DID release a patch already a little while ago.

Actually, they did that back in spring when R* said that Heists were coming this spring. We're coming into winter and still nothing. I expected as much until conveniently after current gen game was released, but the fact R* has failed to deliver after giving a semi-firm release target has made a lot of fans cynical of R* and I feel it's hurt their reputation in the reliability on their word department.

I don't think Rockstar will ever mention Heist again. LOL.

 

Probably they would when PC version is releasing and of course with "soon" word as companion.

I'm thinking 2015. 2015 seems to be the year to dump all the good games, so Rockstar might want to play ball with them, and drop heists along with the big games.

 

After all, it's just about as hyped as, say, UC4.

Get rid of most of the bugs first, R*. Heists are probably not gonna work in GTA Online anyway. It requires co-operation and a lot of people on GTA Online...well....arent very co-operative. They rather blow stuff up. Nothing wrong with that (long as they are wiling to pay insurance), but still

Heists will mark a new age in the GTA:O game, so I'd kind of wager R* will release it to coincide with the start of the Age Of Aquarius, around about 2350 (give or take a few years).
