theres a rumor they are planning a 3rd and final heist in january-februry.

The security company for that loot is quite difficult if not impossible to bypass.

I think they will yes, for a few reasons:

 

- It's a good way to Celebrate the Christmas Month, and a great way for Rockstar to potentially draw in some new players on Christmas with a new free DLC, and the release also may convince last gen players to cross over and maybe even regain their trust in 'an ever evolving world' that Rockstar promised, and the fact they have promised Heists for the next Update. They will lose a lot of of trust if they go back on them again.

 

- If they wait until the PC release, then they have no time to even test them, they need to send them out so that they can see how they work and IF they even work correctly beforehand. A lot of people I've seen say they will come with the PC release, but that's a very bad idea imo, could be a huge mess if they don't work right.

 

Of course, Rockstar's logic could just be thrown out of the Window, and they will make another dumb decision. It's been this long jesus, just release them and get them out of the way. How much work can they possibly need? In their last mention of it, they seemed pretty confident that it would be coming next and for all consoles, so they must have been almost ready to go surely?

A crew member sent me this today. I had also seen another similar article from another "reputable" source which stated basically the same thing.

 

I think we will see them before Christmas. As said above, it would be a smart business move on R*s behalf to release them now. Once all the kiddies who dont have the game yet find out heists are online, they will throw outrageous temper tantrums until their parents buy it.

I usually wait for an official word, but a lot of people seem convinced that this fellow is reputable in regard to the heists. I suppose time will tell.

This lack of heists for so long wouldn't be as f*cking irritating as it is if rockstar would just tell us what the f*ck the problem is, that's much better than not knowing what the f*ck the problem is and being treated like we're rockstar's little bitches.

The problem is Rockstar doesn't want heists to be profitable, and god forbid we have fun doing them

Seems like good news then regarding Heists/Christmas Update...although I still do not get why they would not release before Christmas so people can actually start enjoying them as an early present of sorts. On Christmas day I will you know, sort of be seeing Family and not playing GTA Online.
