What keeps you going in GTAO?

Ive been playing GTA Online for some time now and ive reached level 256. As ive got every gun, best apartment and all the cars i want im getting quite bored of the game. Please drop a comment of some of the stuff you do below that keeps you enjoying GTA Online.

I enjoyed car meets/shows but on PS4 no one hosts.......

Random c-oop missions with randoms.

 

Nothing wakes you up like having teammates that are not compatible with your current playstyle. It helps you be more adaptive.

 

 

And no, "do everything before they screw it up" is not adaptive, it's called "i'm too stupid to close matchmaking and/or I haven't passed 2nd grade and therefore have no idea what 'cooperation' means".

I got a level 204 kd 2.04 in badsport for another 11 months..

 

My new psn is level 136 kd 5.44 and i would say that i've learned A MAJOR AMOUNT since day 1.

 

No other game can currently match gta 5 online.

 

Races....death matches....flying....chatting....shooting....options....COMMUNITY!!!

 

The only game that will surpass it indefinitely is Gta 6. Period.

I just hunt bounties, floor it down the Western Highway in my Massacro, do contact missions I've never done before, play with mates. You know, the usual stuff....

I just found out that you can buy Ammunation stocks in single player, buy ammo and things in ammunation in Online, and make money in singleplayer by buying back the Ammunation stocks.

I have millions, I want more millions as I will be playing this game for 3-4 more years. I deal about quite a bit of free mode justice.

I haven't eplored the stock markets yet but what keeps me playing the game is the new DLC

and looking for cars that people are after in game or making sales of them to boost my own

game funds.

 

Also blowing the hell out of the Los Santos Police department with my tank is incredibly

satisfying.

GTAO was never about acquisition of cars, apartments and weapons for me. Otherwise the billionaire days would have ruined the game in a way. It's more about finding the niche of stuff that you're good at. Then you do more of that and getter better at it. It's like having hobbies in real life, only that instead of collecting stamps or soundtracks it's things like sniping random people.

 

I have a collection of bikes but that's only because they all do something different very well. If there was one universal bike that did everything well I'd be happy with just that one.

 

As long as there's still a learning curve and I feel I haven't hit the ceiling I'll keep doing it.

Well OP my 1st character is a 137 i got all the weapons with him so i started my 2nd character who is lvl 51 so i'm busy with that but before I know it I will reach 120 on my 2nd character because i do all the missions on hard a lot more and I move through levels a lot quicker with the addition of a group that is going all out on missions or survivals. After I reach that point I make sure I can buy the pegasus vehicles that my 1st character has as well as some other things I want. Thats if OP does not have a 2nd character- Going through it all again helped me appreciate what my 1st character could do.

 

If both characters are over 120. Then do whatever. If you want a higher number next to your name then level up, but Jehannum said it right find what you are good at then do it or do something that you enjoy. Maybe find out your weakness on gta online and work to strengthen that. If you got money then gather your crew or friends and start a war in free roam. Heck by the time you join there is always a war in free roam. Otherwise leave the game for a while sometimes you need a break or if you know a friend who is under lvl 120 help em out thats the only reason I use my 1st guy to either troll mic heavy lobbies or help the people in the double digits get into the triple digit levels.

One thing might makes GTAO better is scenarios .

Scenarios is a function of GTA V for NPCs events like police chase ..etc

I don't know why they disabled it for freemode .

I play less and less now. Every time I find some enjoyment, it gets bugged or patched. The content creator is broken for instance. Or when I do go on, absence has lessened my reactions so I come off 2nd best to those who play more regularly, which is frustrating.

 

There's no one thing I especially enjoy. You can't even go through all the different vehicles, because that would mean grinding missions for days to afford the customisation fees.

I play aLOT of TDM & captures. I play them 1. to get our crew rank higher in the leaderboards & for my K/D. Other than that I chill with the crew and just mess around. Oh and kill people who for some reason chase after me and kill me when I'm minding my own business.

I'd say roleplay, you can join a Crime Family, MC, military crew. And many other options, I've been playing since launch, and the only reason for that is motorcycle clubs tbh, lol.

No good games out. I'm sure most of R*'s revenue is spent on destructive espionage. They're probably the reason why Watch Dogs was such a flop....that really was the only game that could of compete with GTA.
