Fix for Returning Player's Issue

Unlink everything from social club on your computer or smart phone.

 

Hop back into Gta5 on 360 or ps3.

 

Create new save and make sure you finish "franklin and lamar" mission (beginning mission).

 

Once it is saved, go to gallery and sign into social club.

 

Now when that is done boot up next gen PS4/XBOX1 Gta5 story mode and take a selfie and go to gallery and upload it to social club....sign in etc.

 

AFTER THAT SAVES you should get a message saying you are a returning player etc etc.

 

I had to rebuy a 360 @ Walmart lol to do this. I redownloaded Gta5 thankfully i bought it digitally. You can borrow a game from a friend if they have the disc for Gta5.

 

BTW you can return a gaming console for a FULL REFUND to Target or Walmart i believe it is a 15 day return policy for Walmart, Target is 30 days. Just make sure you check with the particular store etc.

This is far from a fix. A major inconvenience. I'm fairly sure people don't just have $250 laying around to repurchase a console and game just to get 10 items. Not worth the time or money.

Sorry for being a dumbass but what does this get me? 10 items are what? Is this for single player only or GTA:Online?

 

The biggest question is though, how the hell are they still selling 10 year old game consoles for $250 lol

You get ALL the returning player content for single player AND you get the online stuff. I had to have the Cheval Marshall monster truck and the axe....and the dodo....and the submarine.

If my character transferred over from PS3 no problem.. I still don't have those items likely? Sorry for being such a dipsh*t I just came back after a long long vacation from GTA. Is there an article that describes these items, how to obtain them once unlocked, etc etc.

Go online and go into ammunation. If you see the axe/hatchet that means you're good. You should also be able to order the cheval monster truck from war stock.
