Flying the Lazer (fighter jet) in GTA.

 

Dunno why, but I've never cared for a Lazer. Mallad stunt plane, cool. Luxor passenger plane? Awesome. Titan? Hell yea.

 

But the Lazer, I really don't care for it. Explosive round guns and rockets are so OP on this it's funny, but unfortunately it's stuck on a plane I simply don't enjoy piloting.

 

 

Anyone else out there not fans of the Lazer?

 

 

Honestly helicopters are more my thing, a Frogger or Buzzard is way more fun then planes will ever be. But out of planes I do fly or have flown, the Lazer actually ranks pretty lower to the bottom for me.

Im not a big fan either, but in next gen the lazer is f**king awesome! I really only use the lazer when theres a special crate event weekend.

The only thing I like about the existence of the Lazers in the game is that it allows me to grief ppl when they try to get it. Blowing up a dude with a Buzzard or sniping him from outside of the fence after he entered the base is so satisfying. It's like having a little orgasm.

That's because it is the air equivalent of driving a Tornado. Don't believe those "it's a really good flyer" bullcrap. The Titan- hell, the hidden cargo plane- is more maneuverable than the Lazer, and that obviously says something.

 

The only thing that made Lazer somewhere around the top planes is because it is the only plane with weapons. Remove the weapons, and it's crappier than a Duster with a blown engine.

 

 

EDIT: but let's be honest, blowing people up with a Lazer, hearing them rage out and try to kick you... Makes you feel powerful. That's all most forumers want.

My favourite plane is the Titan hands down. If it wasn't a fixed spawn I'd have bought one long ago. Love cruising in that thing. I bought the miljet but the Titan is on another level of awesome. Dodo is amazing too.

I agree with you OP. I never cared for the lazer or the tank for that matter. Cool indeed, but I'd much rather fly my luxor or drive my Patriot.

I agree with OP. I have no interest in flying a Lazer and haven't developed any kind of skill at it. The Mallard is quite sweet to fly (I bought one for some reason) and the Buzzard has always been great.

I only really use a lazer in missions. Can't be bothered to get one in online. I killed a player in a lazer using my buzzard the other day. The idiot was trying to shoot me down so I just took inspiration from the ww2 japanese kamikaze pilots and crashed straight into him. The rage coming over the mic was rather funny.

exactly when people cried about the tank I knew that was going to happen. Now watch what happens when the people who can never get one complain about how op the Lazer is. See thats why its important to get that money to buy tanks and get your RP so you can go to war if you need to thats my advice to complainers. I mean you think that the people who own tanks and buzzards today didn't have t take their Ls when they were in free roam and got murked.

 

But i don't think OP was complaining about it being overpowered he likes that part but he wishes it was on a plane he liked
