Rockstar, Y U NO let me build maps in fun places!?

I know that you can't make your own maps at the airport and army base because those places are "restricted", however I found out that there are more cool places where I can't make some deathmatches or races.

 

For example, a few minutes ago I wanted to make a deathmatch inside the underground construction site under Downtown (play the obvious approach of the Big Score if you don't know where that is). But, when I started to put the spawn places in, I get the "restricted area" message.

 

I have to admit that I'm a little upset, and it got me wondering if there are other nifty places where I can't lay down a few props.

 

Are there any other places besides the airport, Zancudo, and the underground construction where players can no longer build maps?

you used to be able to place props underground, i dont know why they changed it so you cant

 

I still have a few races where i have props underground before they changed it

i reckon it's cause people would LTS start points in impossible to get to areas... you know the same folk that makes the mass amounts of "RP+£$£$£" jobs!

R* gave us a inch and we made those maps... no wonder they don't trust us.

I think they restricted the Airstrip and Fort Zancudo to encourage players to make creations in lesser-known or visited areas, the interiors being restricted (a few are still open to be created in though) is probably a glitch that came with the plethora of tweaks and additions of 1.18/Last Team Standing Update.

As I understand it, R* limited interiors to players because people would glitch into places like the FIB or the IAA and they didn't like this so now they'd made (I think) all interiors restricted. Remember the official R* motto friends: No fun allowed.

I can still place spawns and props anywhere on PS3 but not on PS4. On PS3 i can still make DM's in restricted areas. If anyone knows a secret location that is restricted and wants a DM created let me know or check out my collection. What really pisses me off is they took away interiors and i actually managed to get in some ultra rare places like The Foundry, Ravens Slaughterhouse ( which would of been epic due to the interior which WAS there originally) and finally Roger's Recycling Facility. Its a shame really why not open the doors up and let us creators in? Its not game breaking, if anything it's game enhancing.

They give you unlimited freedom to do things in their tight restriction.

It's a shame that we can't make races at the airport. The runway has some good areas where GP races would do nicely
