I have purchased one 20$ card on next gen simply because i now make enough money IRL to throw away $20. I only did it cuz i wanted to fill up my second garage and was too lazy to grind or glitch.

 

Edit: come to think about it, ive spent $80 on special edition, $60 on new gen, and $20 on the first and last cash card ive ever bought... I think that makes up for the $6 billion+ in game bucks i glitched back when it was easy to do. Ur welcome, R*.

I was thinking of getting a card, but I've already spent $180 on this sh​it.

 

Got it at midnight release, sold it a few months later, bought the digital X360 copy again for full price (2 weeks before it went down to $30), then went to the midnight release for the PS4 version.

Yeah, well at least those people probably got reset.

 

If I was rich as fu​ck I'd buy like 1,000 Megalodons and get $8Billion, and make everyone think I was a hacker/glitcher and get reported all day.

 

I had about $14M not so legitimately, and wasted it all on ... something, I can't think of it. I know I used to put 9,000 bounties on annoying kids over and over again until they left, back when there was no limit. The entire lobby would unite to spawn trap these poor deserving people. Good times. Spent about $250K in about 5 minutes doing it, but it was so worth it.

I haven't needed to buy one. My main account just got rich from mission grinding back in the good ole days. My other account met some dead hookers. Only did one round and still have 5 non cloned adders left.

 

Funny that after all this time (thousands of hours) rockstar haven't convinced me to buy one. Yert I've played Battle Islands for all of five hours in total and spent 30usd... Rock star could learn a proper tight economy from those guys its genius.

None. But once I took a look on the PS store because I had some leftover money in my PS wallet. The prices are so ridiculously high I'll never even look at them again. Something like 7 euros for 100k, IIRC. If it was 2 euros, they would sell so many more, probably to the point where it becomes more profitable than this ridiculously high price. Really don't get why they did that

Actually they could make those updates as optional paid DLC for 2.99-4.99 depending on the content.

 

But it seems they prefer to make people need money and sell that in-game money for real life money because of the chance of unlimited purchase, instead of one time purchase and forever.
