There appears to be issues with joining and hearing other players in the lobby this evening.

 

Make sure:

 

1. Have your chat set to everyone.

2. You are in game chat.

3. You reset GTA, Load single player and join through the friends list.

4. If it still fails to work you may need to hard reset your Xbox/Router.
