The PCJ-600 Appreciation Thread

Recommended Posts

Ah, the PCJ-600. One of the most famous bikes in the series, It first appeared in Vice City as a Suzuki Katana and has stayed with us all the way.

I remember falling in love with one in IV after I saw it in orange, it may not be the fastest, but I like it, and I hope some of you guys like it too.

Badass bike.

I always remember the sound of it in Vice City. It's like...engraved into my eardrums.

Where do you even find a PCJ now?

You can buy one via SSASA.

It's one of my favorite all-around bikes in the game, after the Bati & Ruffian.

However, there are two kinds: the regular street 600 with twin headlights and the rare, single headlight 600, which is what I ride.

Both are sweet, but the single has just a bit more "je ne sais quoi." :)

Oh that sound, it gets me every time. I also got trained to hear Tommy's signature "uungh" sound after I'd slam into a lamppost, car, or wall and wedge myself under a car or take a swim in Vice City's shark infested waters. I'm not picking on the handling of it, in fact its squirrelly handling was why one was always parked next to a Cheetah in my garage.

Oh yes, I remember crashing and spinning out in one all the time. And let's not forget those damn PCJ Playground missions.

Is this The Guy?

Sold mine a little while ago. Don't know why because I drove it around the back roads regularly.

Handled the dirt better then my Hakuchou which I mostly used for the main roads

Only have scenic pics lol

Gnocchi Flip Flops

I'm not a big bike fan in V but this was one of my favorite bikes in IV. I love the design, it's one of the best IMO.

Needs less license plate imo

Still a great bike to cruise some twisty roads with, it handles great

I think I almost broke a controller (and a keyboard) twice each time screwing up the last jump. Still not as bad as Dirtring though, I'd always get the Sanchez caught on those wrecked cars.

I actually prefer this bike's look over Ruffian, but I take Ruffian for performance wise.

This bike is real deal badass looking. Looks like Streetfighter from VCS.

Used to have it a few times and painted them white and army green.

SALO or The 120 Days Of Sodom

easily one of the best looking and authentic bikes in the game. Mine actually looked exactly like OP.. orange and all. I would have kept mine, if it werent for the sound of it. Tossed it for the sneeze bike... "haku...achoo?" whatever.

Just ordered one from SSASA and it came with the single headlight.

I also own one with a single headlight. Love the thing. Owned it ever since launch, actually. Even though it's not as fast as the Bati or Akuma, I prefer this one for the looks

Was roaming around near the beach, saw one and snatched it. For some reason I ditched it and gone after the Dubsta that spawned. After that I returned to my poor bike and didn't find it anymore since it has despawned. :(

Worst move ever. To make it even worse I was actually looking for a free roam only bike and was planning on getting one.

I imagine for the same reason that the Karin Futo has "DRIFT" written on one of the seats, regardless of the fact that true drifting isn't achievable with the driving physics.

Mistakes are to be expected, and this is a relatively minor one. Raise it to Rockstar and ask them?

this is a reallly, REALLY fun city bike. Very maneuverable in traffic. I still have one that I ride occasionally, even though I mainly ride the Hakuchou.

It's considered a family of bikes, all falling under the generic heading of PCJ-600.

In GTA V, there's the PCJ 600, 660, and 675. I believe, tho could be mistaken, that only the 675 can be purchased. The others spawn.

This is similar to real life, like the BMW 5 Series, which includes the 528, 535, 550, etc.

Just my 2¢. Cheers! :)
