Serious question, what is the appeal of assisted aim in multiplayer?

Empty sessions happen in auto-aim, a lot. Just as much as free-aim.

Tell me why would you lie?

How can I when I am not?

Every session I go in, I guarantee it's either be just me or less than 10 players or a near full session that gradually dwindles down to 3 or 4 players. Recently, all stability in regards to session population has gone completely out the window.

Lol, yeah. Most sessions I start in auto aim have at least 25 people in. I am literally talking over 90% of the time. Sure, there are some quieter ones but my own experience is that it's the complete opposite of free aim sessions, which are <10 90% of the time.

I was in back to back to back empty AA sessions last night. It happens in all aim modes all the time. Blame R*

Seriously... you would think that some of you would get that by now..lol

Nothing to do with internet speeds. I play with people with far higher speeds than I have. They have the same issues.

Basically, the game is broken on the Xbox. That is an irrefutable fact.

It's a good time to try free aim. Modded account abilities seem to have been wiped so legit players have a fair chance. And if you're an AA player, you can use FAA in FA, though people will hate you for it, including me. If you join an active crew, you'll always find populated lobbies if that's what you want. If you've been playing this game a bit, you really should have learned how to manipulate the matchmaking system by now ffs.

What bugs me most is how the settings change. I often join created/random jobs, don't mind what the aim settings are, I can play both. But my preference in random free mode is "free aim".

So everytime I join an auto-aim job, I get swapped back into auto-aim settings and have to remember to log into creator/SP mode to change it.

More annoying than a lobby full of shark-card jet squeakers. With AIDS.

Let's face it: Both modes require different types of skills.

In AA you kill easily because auto aim. But because even a cat can lock on you, its also easy for YOU to die. Which means the skill needed here is staying alive, not how easy it is to kill. Which means AA require defensive skills.

In FA however, with no auto-lock you need to manually aim. Not everyone have a steady hand and are beasts when it comes to aiming with a controller. Which also means (talking about average, not-so-skilled players) its difficult for YOU to die. Which means you need to aim more on how to kill someone instead of defending yourself from said person.

TL;DR: AA = Defensive skills needed. FA = Offensive skills needed.

I prefer it because fuller lobbies...

Both QFT.

People will incorrectly dispute them, but they are both facts. Let them dispute the facts - it's funny, as they're wasting their own time, not ours :D

Pretty much.

Quite funny to sit back and watch people dispute sometimes

Maybe you should switch to PS4 then.

No thanks. I'm not a peasant. Plus I like playing on a network that doesn't get hacked ever other day.

Big difference between AA and FA is attitude of the players. AA guys seem more casual and relaxed and don't take things so seriously as a rule. FA is populated by sexist, racist, homophobic, cheating scum, but the deathmatches are great. In any lobby where you see EWO on the feed all the time though, it's a bad sign.

No hackers on PS4. Not a peasant you say? Please elaborate in detail as I won't respond.

Funny thing is the exact opposite is true. Only because AA is more populated.

Theres waaay more annoying, racists loud mouth assholes in AA. Seriously... AA is the only time where I NEED to turn my chat to friends/crew only. Its total ear rape...

But i will easily say theres more annoying kids in AA. Thats for damn sure.

Also for me on XBOX one. Due to almost all my friends now and all friendly crews all in free aim. I end up in packed public lobbies that are beyond casual and relaxed.

I didn't mention the system. I said network.

You will respond. You can't help yourself.

It's pretty much irrelevant now to anyone playing on NG. As R* decided to throw in assisted aim in the FR lobbies. So, you are all playing the handicapped port, with no true difference in aim preference. Time to get over it when you're all handicapped.

Pretty much this^

Real free aim is dead on current gen and R* killed it. I stopped using pure free aim months ago after i gave up on R* to fix it. And really it makes no sense at all because the AA in free aim is actually more useful then the harder locking AA in the actual AA game modes.

The only way to play actual free aim now on GTA O is OLD gen and PC. Because R* said... f*ck PS4 and XBOX ONE. Hey, lets put auto aim in free aim, because thats what everyone always wanted :D

You should ignore me and end your confusion.

There is no sense. It's either you're a nooby cupcake because you want friendly lobbies, or you're a peasant because you don't belong to his platform.
