All these new Ports of SA are garbage. For the record, I also have SA for iOS Version 1.6 and tbh, I don't have problems with it. I keep hearing "it's just a sh*tty mobile port." Well, the actual Mobile Version is just fine for me. It's nothing like the Xbox360 Version and it's nothing like the PS3 Physical Version, either. But yeah SA for PS2 and SA for iOS is all I own and all I ever want to own. Never been into PC Gaming and I never got into buying it for any other Versions, either... I don't think I'll be picking this up anytime soon, it's just the crappy mobile port with half the soundtrack removed, stick with the PC version guys... And they also fixed cutscene FOV! No more frozen characters on edges of screen! DeeRock75 Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 Downloaded it today but just had a couple of minutes to try it out... Looks basically like the 360 version and plays like it too. The audio seems to have a tendency to get stuck within the same track if you don't listen to it to the end. For me, I actually quiet (almost) liked the 360 version, it looks like the PC Version with better timecycle, I'm on board with the controls and don't even mind the missing songs that much (can't behelped I guess). The only thing that spoils that version for me are the audio glitches. Still have slight hope the PS3 version might fare better, but not sure yet. Best possible version is of course the PC version with silentpatch, ginput and PS2 timecycle, but that confines me to the PC monitor in my study, whereas the consoles are hooked up to my projector.... I can't really blame Rockstar, there's no point into re-licensing the soundtrack of a game which is not that profitable anymore. At least we all expected these songs to be absent and DIDN'T LOSE THEM THROUGH A CRAPPY UPDATE *coughs*. But it's a shame, at first the mobile version came out then the f*cking Steam update removing all the amazing soundtracks as mobile version, later the crappy Xbox 360 version and now the poor PS3 which both are a very sh*tty mobile port with the resolution settings to the max. Karrecod Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 I played this version on the Xbox 360 back in 2014, and I can tell you one thing, PS3 users: you will be disappointed! Haven't seen it in a long time. I don't have any games on my Ps2 beacuse it's just been so long you know? Luckly there's a mall where i live that sells old Ps2 games so i might buy the whole collection that inlcudes Gta 3,VC,SA, today or tomorow. I bought LCS and VCS in April 2014 for my birthday and I am glad I did. Those are amazing just like III, VC, and SA for me. I am not very fond of the whole HD Era. I mean, IV/TLaD/TBoGT/CW isn't bad, but no matter what, I always come back to the 3D Era more than anything. Things are still being discovered to this day, especially in SA... I thought you had the BC PS3 like mine? For enhanced graphics and such, I have the iOS Version. I wouldn't want any other "new" Version of SA besides the Mobile Version and imo, the PS2 Version will always be the best and where SA feels "right" to play on. No joke, I haven't played or even thought of V since August. And before August, I didn't play it for 6 months before that, either. I don't like V and never will.
