GTA San Andreas was removed a long time ago, then it was made available again recently, then it was removed again these days. I really hope something is coming. If PS4 can emulate III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, IV, TLaD, TBoGT, and V, I'd buy a PS4 in a heart beat. I haven't bought one yet because of the backward compatibility. I own a PS3 still, but mine is backward compatible to all my PS2 physical discs and I have a lot of them. But most noted III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS for PS2. I really wished all of these would be able to play on PS4 using my PS2 physical discs, etc... I wouldn't keep my hopes up for IV-V. Because it was a buggy mobile port that changed some things (such as not being able to pedal on bicycle anymore - the game just does it for you) I heard it made challenges like BMX and chillad challlenges almost impossible to complete... with that considered I'm glad there wasn't a 100% achievement. But you PS3 players shouldn't get excited about this if it's the same buggy, badly ported mobile version with features missing, saving problems reported by some players, cutscene problems, songs missing, radio skipping songs or replaying the same song over and over again. The only good things are the achievements and the upgraded graphics, but even the graphics aren't that great, everything has got a shiny/glossy look to it - which takes away the gritty feel the game had - and the characters and vehicles don't look any better, they actually look worse. Just the landscape benefits from the graphical upgrade imo. I got the remastered version for Xbox, got the 1000 gamescore then went straight back to the original version. Rockstar just did a lazy port of the mobile version of the game thinking it would work fine on consoles... and it did not. As a xbox player the only thing I like about owning the Xbox 360 version is having the achievements and being able to be online as I play San Andreas (which is irrelevant now as I know longer play the 360 version). So it's not unusual that some people may have this game early too. Obviously Rockstar put stricter controls on big releases to stop this happening. Seems like the UK version has a BBFC certificate. Even if they did they would probably end up getting sued or something for having those songs. So yeah players can expect the same crappy mobile port with the same bugs from the Xbox version. Knowing R* you really think they would even bother changing anything on an old game like SA? Mabye if they at least fixed all the bugs the Xbox version had that would totally be grate for the Ps3 version. I believe that all they did was remove the offending music. Until someone actually BUYs this release and tells us I will consider it the Classic Game with deletions. There is no reason for SONY to accept the Buggy MOBILE version of "Remastering". They could be waiting until it is FIXed before putting their name on it. There is no reason for SONY to accept the Buggy MOBILE version of "Remastering". They could be waiting until it is FIXed before putting their name on it. Judging from the fact that there are trophies (that have the same requirements as the 360's achievements), I hate to say I'm fairly certain this is the same mobile port as the 360 version, complete with audio glitches, removed songs, glossy graphics, and terrible framerate. Hopefully, it will at least fix the glitches, seeing as how it took an extra year to release it on PS3. Actually, according to some people, the game is already on stores in Germany, but I haven't heard about anyone publicly testing it. I'll wait some days until the reviews come out. I wish R*/War Drum Studios would've done an HD version of Liberty City Stories instead, though. pyramid head Posted December 1, 2015 Share Posted December 1, 2015 They kept it very quiet that it was coming out for PS3, a GTA game hasn't had virtually no pre-release publicity since GTA3 was released for which there was literally no pre-release publicity, when i first heard about GTA3 i was like what is that at the time it had been a couple of years since i last played GTA1 and i had mostly forgotten about the games having constantly been playing FF7 and FF8. I only know that San Andreas is out on PS3 because i spotted a trophy list for the game http://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/gta-san-andreas/trophies/ I won't be buying the game again, i have 4 copies of the game 2 for PS2 the original version with the controversial content that for some reason can't be talked about on here, another copy that i bought when my original copy of the game started acting weird, a pc version of the game that someone gave me that wouldn't work on the pc i had at the time and the PSN release.
