I have yet to decide if I want to do it yet, though. Vercetti27 Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 I still enjoy the ps2 version. When I did download the ps3 port in 2013 the graphics weren't right and the display didn't fit the screen. I deleted right then, had I known it would have been my last chance I might have persevered with it. Nihilanth1982 Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 i just bought the game off PSN (finally it came back after it disappared from the PS store for several months) however it's abit wierd seeing it again aftre spending the last 2 months playing gta4. firstly, the graphics. i have set it to widescreen and have used the smooth option, i was wondering if there are other ways i can improve the graphics of the game, such as the TV settings? i think when i clicked on it, it then goes into 576 resolution. my TV is 1080p? also, the controls are abit sensitive for this game. when i turn it turns quite alot when running, perhaps thats a result of me playing gta4 too long and how slow they respond to turning? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lil weasel Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 Cannot say I found any difference on the HDTV from the PS3 using the HDMI cable. the game only plays at 720p I have not adjusted any settings, just going with the PS3 and jame as is. Nihilanth1982 Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 lil weasel, my connection is by HDMI too. but when going on any ps2 classic on the ps3, my TV is changed to a lower res for the game to play, not sure if this is automatically done by the ps3 or tv, i think its likely to be the former. any idea how you got yours to stick to 720? For months before the re- port came to 360 i was wanting to get SA to play through the amazing story. But, when i finally decide to get it, the original was gone. (Well, i found that out after i bought it for £3.) Now all i have is my Ps2 (Version whatever it is) disc, which i haven't kept in the best of conditions... (Yeah thats my fault. Its in such a bad condition that if you let Cj idle the screen will go play and say "Error, unable to read grand theft auto: san Andreas disc", but after i move him the game will continue.)
